Discover the various ways to collect Pirate Coins in Lost Ark.

How to Get More Pirate Coins

There are many, many, probably too many, currencies in Lost Ark. Pirate Coins are among the most important.

In this guide, we’ll cover several different ways to get more of them so you can unlock the Song of Resonance, gather honing materials, and more.

Welcome Challenges

First off are welcome challenges. Often times, you’ll just unlock these naturally while you play. Keep an eye out for different conditions during your journeys in Arkesia to make unlocking them as convenient as possible.

Una’s Daily Tasks

Once you unlock the ability to complete Una’s Tasks, this will become one of your main sources of Pirate Coins.

Here are some recommended examples in the early game:

  • Pest Control (30,000 Coins). Make sure to finish Catch the Rats and then visit Blackfang’s Den. Wait for the event and tag the boss to finish it on a daily basis.
  • Crook Catcher (32,000 Coins). Visit Runaways Island to find three NPCs.
  • Ride Like the Wind (42,000 Coins). Visit Peyto and then 3 other islands.

This is one of the fastest ways to acquire 100K Pirate Coins.

Islands

Besides being a great source of Pirate Coins, Islands are worth your while due to the many other rewards you’ll collect like Gold, collectibles, and honing mats.

Keep these ones in mind:

  • Freedom Isle (15,000 Coins)
  • Blackfang’s Den (10,000 Coins)
  • Kalthertz Island (10,000 Coins)
  • Golden Wave Island (7000 Coins)

Adventure Islands

To find Adventure Islands, take a look at your Procyon’s Eye Compass below your minimap. Some of them will provide Pirate Coins as a reward.

Keep in mind that you can only visit once a day on weekdays and 2x on weekends.

High Seas Coin Chests

Lastly, look for traveling merchant ships with exchanges for other various Sea Coins.

If you really, really need Pirate Coins, open up chests and trade them in. However, this is more of a desprate option.
