How to Steal a Mortar or Cannon
Firstly, yes, you can do it, sort of. Even though the game creators didn’t plan for it, you can kill the cannon crew and use the cannon/mortar gun.
- Beat all the enemies near the cannon.
- Cleverly position your soldiers in stealth mode around the cannon.
- Turn off stealth for one soldier to shoot the cannon crew and make them leave.
- This gets the crew away from the gun.
- Pause the game, tell your soldiers to stop hiding, and shoot the crew.
- After they’re gone, quickly pause again and order everyone to hide.
- An empty cannon is still seen as an enemy until your soldiers take charge.
- Pick two soldiers, operate the cannon, and have fun. Some missions become really exciting with your own cannons!
