Laika Aged Through Blood 100% Achievements Guide

This guide gives tips on how to get all the achievements. It’s not finished yet, but I wanted to share what I’ve learned about getting all the achievements. If you find anything wrong or want to add more details, just leave a comment below!

Generic Achievements

Excursion
Cover 50km.

Journey
Cover 200km.

Voyage
Cover 500km.

Killer
Kill 100 Enemies.

Psychopath
Kill 500 Enemies.

Genocide
Kill 1000 Enemies.

You might not have a hard time getting these while playing the game.

Corpse
Die 100 times.

Carcass
Die 500 times.

Skeleton
Die 1000 times.

After you’ve finished everything else, stand at a savepoint and tilt over and over. It takes about 5 seconds for each death, so you can get 300 deaths in about 25 minutes. While this is happening, you can do something else.

Boss Achievements

Hunger
Kill A Hundred Hungry Beaks.

Loss
Kill A Long Lost Woodcrawler.

Misery
Kill A Caterpillar Made of Sadness.

Downfall
Kill a Gargantuan Swimcrab.

Sacrilege
Kill Pope Melva VIII.

Heresy
Kill the Two-Beak God.

These are story-related achievements, and you will be able to unlock them as you progress through the game.

Combos, Blackjack, and Cooking

Pack
Achieve a x6 combo.

Flock
Achieve a x12 combo.

Herd
Achieve a x16 combo.

There’s a great spot for farming money and building combos in Where Chaos Plots, but you need the dash ability to get there. Where Chaos Plots is the cave where you get the hook ability from Hectist. It’s in the northeast of Where Iron Caresses the Sky. Go all the way to the bottom right of the cave, then dash up a ledge. The bird guarding it won’t shoot you. Behind that, you’ll find a handy savepoint and a small room with 11 enemies inside. They won’t shoot you even if you start firing. Combos in this game count how many shots hit enemies before you touch the ground again. If you miss a shot, there’s a penalty, but it won’t reset the counter entirely. It’s important to know that shooting dead enemies’ bodies with a red outline still counts toward your combos!

Play blackjack for the first time.

Gambler
Play blackjack 10 times.

Ludopath
Play blackjack 50 times.

Winner
Win 1000 viscera playing blackjack.

These are pretty simple. If you don’t want to play actively, start by farming viscera. After that, spam high bets to get the Winner achievement and play a few more games for the Ludopath achievement. Keep in mind that you don’t need a net win of 1000, so even if you lose more viscera than you win, you’ll still get the achievement.

Discover all the recipes.

While you’re on the road, keep shooting vending machines. You can purchase ingredients from gas stations or Maniu in Where We Live. Maniu’s stock seems to replenish daily. Remember, there are 4 types of ingredients: Filler, Flavour Bomb, Vending Juice, and Military Supply. Each dish is made up of 3 ingredients, and any ingredient can be used multiple times. There are 4 dishes containing only a single ingredient type, 4 dishes with 3 different ingredient types, and 6 dishes with exactly 2 types. For the 2-type recipes, it doesn’t matter which type you double. Typically, the specific ingredient you choose of a given type is irrelevant, except for the first three entries in the cookbook:

• Extra Spicy Taco: Ghost Pepper, Canned Corn, Blood Beans
• Carajillo: Coffee Can x2, Mini-Whiskey
• Sardines al Ajillo: Oily Sardines, Lemon, Red Garlic

Sidequests

Maya’s hunt for the pendant Quest

Creation
Remember when Puppy arrived.

Schooling
Remember your first shot.

Demise
Remember when Ava left.

These correspond to the quests chain “Where We Used to Live,” “Target Practice,” and “Ava.” You can find them in the northern part of “Where All Was Lost.” To get there, go up from “Where Doom Fell” and then head right along a long, straight path.

Other Side Quests in the Game

Band
Reunite the Wastelanders.

There are 6 subquests related to the members of the band: Kai, Fogg, Rollo, Gusto, Han, and Fernidu. You’ll need to find Guitarstrings, Drumsticks, Sheet music, a flute brush, an Erhu string, and medicine for the singer. Most of these items can be bought from the traveling merchant, and you can find the guitar strings directly at the gas station east of Kai. I believe the drumsticks are somewhere within the area where Fogg is located.

Empire
Take down all the memorial statues.

You can find these on the map. There are a total of 5. Here are the locations: The Hectist will likely be found in a location if you haven’t demolished the statue there, and he might make a remark about his notes. The subsequent points represent the locations of the statues themselves.

• In the transition between the dark blue and purple sections of Where the Waves Die, right below the connection to Where our Bikes Growl, go all the way to the west.
• In Where the Waves Die, northeast heading into Where Doom Fell.
• In Where Doom Fell, central below the teleporter.
• In Where Iron Caresses the Sky, just east of the teleporter.
• In Where All Was Lost, far east and north. Note that you can reach this area from below only after you have received the dash ability.

Vision
Reveal the full map.

Just make sure to locate the person in each region. The first one referred to as “Where we Spy on them” doesn’t have a map, not even in its later state.

Gift
Give Puppy all the treats.

Sound
Find all the cassette tapes.

Stay watchful and gather them from all around the world, including shops. Remember, each gas station sells a unique tape.

Weapons and Upgrades

Obtain all weapons.

Each weapon, except for the Revolver and Crossbow, needs a blueprint and a special ingredient.

• Shotgun: Blueprint provided by Maya, Rusty Spring required (ingredient unspecified).
• Crossbow: Always craftable, no special material needed.
• Sniper Rifle: Blueprint found at “Where All Was Lost,” on the stacked platforms above “Where Rust Weaves.” Material required is unspecified.
• Machine Gun: Blueprint located at “Where Our Ancestors Rest” (descend the left side, at the end of a cave system, next to a savepoint). Material needed is unspecified.
• Rocket Launcher (requires dash): Blueprint located to the right of “Where We Live.” Missile found at “Where the Waves Die,” on the top right platform in the central cave.

Gun
Upgrade the Revolver to the highest level.

Shot
Upgrade the Shotgun to the highest level.

Bolt
Upgrade the Crossbow to the highest level.

Crosshair
Upgrade the Sniper Rifle to the highest level.

Machine
Upgrade the Machine Gun to the highest level.

Rocket
Upgrade the Rocket Launcher to the highest level.

Upgrade materials are divided by area. For instance, bones are abundant in “Where Rock Bleeds” but can’t be found in other places.

Armory
Craft all the weapon holsters.

Bowels
Craft all the viscera sacks.

No need for blueprints here.
