In survival mixtapes, you can find cursed crowns. But the game doesn’t tell you what you need to do to get them. I’m here to help you with that! I’ll give you the requirements for each cursed crown and some hints on how to get them.
The basics
In survival mixtapes, the first day is always peaceful. Blood moon waves come on day 7, 14, 21, and so on, and they attack from both sides. Greed creatures retreat during regular waves at sunrise, but they keep attacking during blood moon waves. Crown stealers are back and appear during blood moon waves too.
The maps and the placement of resources are random, so you can restart to get a better map.
No Escape from Camp Kingdom
To get the cursed crown, you need to survive for 22 days, which means enduring 3 blood moon waves. This is the easiest mixtape.
Back to the Suburbs
To earn the cursed crown here, you must survive for 29 days, facing 4 blood moon waves. It’s a bit more challenging, and at the start, it’s crucial to focus on building up your population and finances.
Greed: First Goo
Again, this mixtape requires surviving for 29 days with 4 blood moon waves. Balancing population and finances is key. Start expanding once you have 8 archers, and deal with counter-attacks cautiously.
Fast Times at New Lands Mall
This one also needs 29 days and 4 blood moon waves. Recruitment is similar to Two Crowns, where vagrant camps turn into citizen houses when nearby forests are cut down. But be careful, as these houses strain your finances.
Conclusion
The final survival mixtape is the toughest, set in chapter 2’s map, and demands surviving for 36 days, including 5 blood moon waves. Walls and turrets can’t be rebuilt, so you’ll need new strategies.
To prevent wall and turret destruction, be on the move and use the dustbin and machine creatively. Crown stealers only appear during blood moon waves, so empty your monarch’s purse to distract them.
Also, you can only defend one side at a time, so focus on one side for the first 4 weeks and switch to the other for the last week to survive the final blood moon.
This challenge is really tough, so prepare to play multiple times if you want to earn the cursed crown.
