IXION Expedition Choices Guide

Prologue ( Moon – Abandoned Base )

Exploit the security vulnerability first then dismantle the base, if you choose to dismantle the base first, you can’t exploit the security and lose the reward.

Prologue ( Saturn – Dark Side of Saturn )

Send a team to investigate and do not attempt to locate debris in orbit. If you choose to locate debris in orbit, it will locked saturn.

Prologue ( Mars – Healthy Competition )

Any choice will lock further action and the last give you no reward.

If you choose to repair for ressources :

Prologue ( Outer Hope – Out of Sight )

Don’t jump to fast, theire is one secret location you can discover with a probe :

If you choose the first option you will continue the dialogue else it will close and lock the location :

If you choose to trade with them :

If you refuse to deal it end the event and lock the Unothorized location :

Chapter 1 ( Earth – What Remains of Us )

Here you can do everything, i havn’t tested all possible choice order but nothing seem to lock earth.

Chapter 1 ( Ghosts of the Urshanabi )

Only one choice !

Chapter 1 ( Debris Field – Immensity )

Same as earth, you can do everything here !

Chapter 1 ( Asteroid Belt – They Call It a Mine )

If you choose to dismantle a part of the facility :

Forcing the entry to the control center will lead on loosing few crew member, with the choice to honor the dead or leave the corpse …

If you choose to let the dead rest in peace :

If you choose to honor the dead it’s worst :

Chapter 1 ( Uranus – Tane Mahuta )

Leaving uranus will lock the area ! And cutting the tree now will give you only a portion of reward ( also lock uranus ) !

If you choose to “Carry out ecological analysis” :

Then you can harverst some edible elements :

Chapter 1 ( Mars – Richter’s Facility )

Each choicec will lock the location !

Investigate the storage area :

Inspecting the scientific study center :

Performing a full swepp of the facility :

Preparing the site for ressource extraction :

Chapter 1 ( Saturn – Black Market Society )

Anyways, choosing to leave the area as always lock it !

Attempting to restart the station’s heating system will do nothing …

Breaking through the ice :

Chapter 1 ( Neptune – Thiaki )

I’ve put Neptune here because if you want to open the sealed room you must finish Saturn first.

Collecting what’s usable in the station : ( This choice allow you to open the sealed box ! )

Provoking a structural collapse : ( Lock the location ! )

/!\ Using explosive to open the sealed room do nothing, but allow you then to collect what’s useable fom the remains …

If you use the oulixes biometric to open the sealed room : ( If you had the possibility to break through just after don’t do it, you will get some dead ! )

Chapter 1 ( Venus – Morbihan )

Restarting the assembly line :

Chapter 1 ( The End of Outer Hoper ) – Quest /!\

This is a quest mission !

I havn’t tested both situation, but starting first by searching the battlefield allow to continue :

To finish dismantle the station :

Chapter 1 ( Jupiter – Hepaestus ) Quest /!\

It’s straight forward, just follow the dialogue.

Chapter 2 ( Falcon 74 – Business as Usual )

Any choice will lock the location !

Performing intrusive analysis : ( Lock the location )

Setting up a temporary study center : ( Lock the location )

Etablishing infrastructure :

Chapter 2 ( DO-G-0202 – The Lost Sheep )

Linear choice, just don’t leave and finish all task.

I may have missed some area, due to update or just by going to fast and avoid some, if so feel free to share your information to other, i will update the guide as far as i can.

Small mark on the probe view is for asteroid, i do not check all of them as it depend on your choice, how you design your station and so on, check only the “big mark” for location !
