- Patch Title: Save System out now!
- Patch Release Date: April 8, 2024
The developer of Into the Dungeon has released a new update for the game on April 8, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.
Save System!
Hello everyone!
Like I said in my previous announcement I wanted to get a single player save system out as soon as possible, so here it is! A multiplayer save system is on its way as well, but I wanted to push this update right away. Additionally, I’ve added support for ultra wide monitors.
Changes
- Single-player save system! The game will auto-save every time you enter the map screen and when you enter the portal room
- Added support for ultrawide monitors
- At the first shop before the Forest only 150g cost artifacts will appear
- Player names now start at 1 instead of 0 (Player 1 instead of Player 0)
- Made a few balance changes to the giant and the fairies
- Changed the scaling of cards in the shop to hopefully make it more readable
- Hardcore mode and Classic mode are available from the beginning
- Removed the option to start from the Desert or the Dungeon since these were band-aid fixes for not having a save system.
Bug Fixes
- Added missing upgrades for the Windwhirl card for Viking
- Hardcore achievements should be unlocking now
Coming Next
Over the next week I will be working on a multiplayer save system and boss variants for the forest and desert.
Let me know what you think!
I appreciate the comments on the last post! If theres something you want to see in game or you just want to share how these updates make you feel, please feel free to post below!
