This guide aims to show you all the places you can find the G-Man in Hunt Down the Freeman.
Introduction
Most of these G-Man locations are only available on the M3SA build of the game. To access the M3SA build right click on HDTF in your steam library and open properties, click on the “Betas” tab then us the password “Password2Short” to get access.
This guide will contain some spoilers, you have been warned.
Act 1
Map: a0c0p1_blackmesa
Location: To the left of where you pick up the MP5 there is a hallway, to the left in the hallway is a room that the G-Man is in.
Map: a0c0p1_blackmesa
Location: Once you exit the airlock and enter the large room, to the right high up there is a small room with a window, the G-Man is hiding in there.

Location: The room you start in, if you turn around you can see the G-Man watching you through the glass.
Map: a1c2p3_office
Location: The area you start in, if you turn around, behind the glass in the distance the G-Man is waiting there.

Location: Before the claymore section there is some stairs you can try to go up and be blocked by Adam telling you to get back, the G-man is at the top of the stairs.

Location: Close to the start, far off on the distance if you look on top of the cliff to the right you’ll see the G-Man.

Location: In the room right before you meet Joe, there is a room with firefighters in it, the G-Man is also inside that room. (Note: The G-Man will disappear from the room even if you don’t look at him if you hit the 3 switches in the level to open up the exit).

Location: In the room right above the cafeteria the stairs to get to the captains room is blocked off, if you look into the captains room you’ll see the G-Man.
Act 2
Map: a2c1p1_alaska
Location: Once you get to the area with the huge wall, the G-Man can be seen far off in the distance at the place you need to go to.
Map: a2c2p2_factory
Location: After going down the elevator, if you look through the window into the room you started the level in, the G-Man is in there.
Act 3
Map: a3c1p1_ship
Location: After going up the elevator, before you end the level the G-Man can be seen on the ships balcony.
Map: a3c2p1_ci17-1
Location: If you head over to the alleyway you go down in hl2, the G-Man can be seen behind the fence.
Map: a3c3p1_blackmesaeast
Location: Inside the hallway right next to Eli’s lab, the G-Man can be seen past the fence to the right.
Map: a3c3p4_streetfight
Location: Close to the start of the level, in the area Adam and the crew are, the G-Man can be found behind the fence.
