Homebody – Dead Bodies Achievement Guide

This guide will be showing you how to easily obtain the Dead Bodies achievement in Homebody. To get this achievement, players need to inspect all of Emily’s friends after they die in one loop.

It’s ideal to complete this achievement on the first night and play a “waiting game” for The Killer to arrive.

The idea is to just stay out and converse with your buddies until around 10:00 p.m. in-game time, then hide in a closet.

The Killer will enter the Master Bedroom through a concealed door at about 10:45 p.m.

I recommend hiding in the Master Bedroom closet and working your way down, listening closely for The Killer’s heavy breathing.

In one swift sweep, you must locate and inspect all of your friends’ dead bodies in the same evening.

Francine is generally seen in The Study Room. She is occasionally seen in the Upper Hallway or the Master Bedroom itself.

Megan, in my experience, is always in the Living Room, near the couch.

Cliff may end up in the kitchen, the first-floor hallway, or the living room/dining area.

Gary appears to be all over the place! He is usually found in the Foyer or the Living room or dining area. He can also be found in the Upstairs Hallway and the Study Room.

To find out if all four companions have died, listen closely for heavy, ragged breathing and the swish of a knife, then gently make your way around the house and examine each body.

NOTE: You can do this on any other night in the game, but it is simplest to do it on the first night before The Time Loop begins in earnest. Remember that the more you learn about the house, the sooner The Killer appears, especially after activating one of the Generators.

It’s also worth noting that as the story unravels, Francine will eventually vanish, so it’s better to try to achieve this achievement in the early nights.
