This guide will help you with getting past one of the hardest enemies in the entirety of Hollow Knight. I’m surprised a guide like this has not been made before, as this enemy appears so early on in the game, you’d think everyone would be looking for ways to make this mini-boss easier. The enemy I am referring to is the Crawlid. These little bastards can come out of nowhere, ending some of speed-running’s best runs, with such precision you’d never expect.
Take ten seconds to look for him in this image. Did you find him? No? Exactly. These little ♥♥♥♥♥ use camo techniques not seen since the Vietnam War. If you didn’t find the Crawlid in ten seconds, which I know you didn’t because of their stealth technology, you would already be dead. But don’t fret, dear reader! Because I will show you a multitude of ways to take them down!
How To Defeat
Alright, listen. I’m going to level with you, dearest reader.
There is absolutely no way in hell you can kill these creatures. They are far too powerful, and will never be killed by the likes of you. You may as well avoid them altogether because just being in the same room as them will likely kill you after a mere five seconds. Sorry to say, but you have got your work cut out for you. Honestly, just avoid the Howling Cliffs, King’s Pass, Greenpath, Forgotten Crossroads, and Blue Lake altogether. You’ll never survive. Even after getting every upgrade, you probably won’t be well-equipped enough for a fight with them ever.
