This guide will show you the best way to farm super credits in Helldivers 2. While there are lots of methods out there, I am confident that this one is a pretty neat trick to get super credits. So, I think exploiting this method will give you no harm since we’re not actually breaking any rules of the game.

How Does it Work?

For a solo run on the first difficulty level in defend missions against automatons, it’s advisable to opt for light armor along with a stamina upgrade if available. Additionally, utilizing the Slugger shotgun can expedite the process of blowing up container doors.

Upon spawning, choose any location except the base and commence circling around it, keeping an eye on Points of Interest (POIs) marked with a “?” on your compass. Focus primarily on containers requiring destruction for access and drones emitting light beams, as they often contain valuable resources such as SC (Space Credits), medals, and requisitions.

Fortunately, the system is designed to credit your account instantly upon collecting these items, eliminating the need for extraction or completing mission objectives. Given the compact size of maps in defend missions at the first difficulty level, completing a full circle typically takes between 2 to 5 minutes at most. Once you’ve completed your circuit, simply return to your ship by pressing ESC and selecting the appropriate option.

This method not only facilitates the acquisition of SC and requisitions but also proves effective for farming Warband medals. In just an hour of circling, you can amass a significant haul, with approximately 320 SC and 96 Warbands obtained, although there is still room for improvement in maximizing SC collection efficiency.

Taking the strategy to the next level, an accidental discovery arose when experiencing a loss of WiFi during farming sessions. It turns out that upon losing connection and being returned to your ship as a result, the mission layout—including all POI locations—remains unchanged upon reconnecting.

Moreover, the loot inside these POIs also remains consistent. This opens up a method where you can target specific containers containing desired loot, such as 2 medals granting 5 warbands or 2 SC, loot them, then intentionally disconnect your internet connection. Subsequently, upon being returned to your ship due to the connection loss, you can reconnect and jump back to the exact location on the map where you found the desired POI, finding it still present.

Through this “disconnect” farming technique, impressive results can be achieved. For example, dedicating an hour to farming POIs with 2 SC spawns yielded 360 SC (with 18 jumps at 20 SC each). It’s worth noting, however, that the results may seem disappointing initially due to the game’s delay in recognizing the lack of internet connection (taking nearly a minute) and subsequently restoring it (3-4 minutes each time). As a result, each jump may consume approximately 4 minutes, which is sufficient time to complete an entire circle run, ultimately affecting the efficiency of the farming process.

Indeed, this method holds potential for optimizing farming efficiency, particularly when encountering missions with numerous desirable POIs. By repeating the same mission and consistently obtaining identical loot from POIs upon reconnecting, it offers a streamlined approach to resource acquisition.

While further testing may be warranted to fully validate its effectiveness, the prospect of reliably accessing lucrative loot from repeatable missions presents an enticing opportunity. Sometimes, knowing when to pause and assess the current progress is wise, especially after uncovering promising strategies.
