How, where, and in what order you should do the achievements and challenges of Gene Shift Auto, coupled with some images for visual learners
Introduction
First things first, you will need the Deluxe Edition to get all achievements (for three achievements, really?).
Second, you can play with bots at any time to complete all of the challenges! So that’s one very nice detail that I hope more devs try to follow in the future, because nobody wants to do multiplayer achievements when you got no friends willing to play / no player base to play with (that doesn’t mean this game has no player base).
And third, I guess, it’s that despite being a battle royale, the game developers didn’t give in to their greed, and as so, there is no battle pass nor seasonal achievements that you may have missed years ago and never knew when you bought the game and they won’t ever be obtainable again (I’m looking at you F1 2018).
But enough rambling about nothing! You should know how to play by now, if you are reading this, meaning you Shift-TABed out of the game and stumbled upon this guide, or maybe you don’t know what to do and opened up the guide just to be curious (or to check if you want to play this game). Fair enough, the first thing you do when you open the game is play the tutorial, and finishing it gives us the “GG EZ” achievement.
Now that we got that out of the way, as you can see from the menu, there’s an Unlock tab at the top that will show us our challenges. But before that, you can press a button on left side of the screen to join the Official Gene Shift Auto Discord, and that will also grant you an achievement, the “Hello there” achievement.
Okay, now we get onto the Unlock tab, and into the challenges, because, as you may guess, there’s an achievement for completing all the challenges in this list, and some are tricky, so we are gonna use all of our time to complete the challenges we need to progress. All challenges need to be unlocked first, by completing the ones near them. Some of these challenges also come with achievements, but completing these before unlocking their challenges on the list won’t count, and that means we’re gonna need to do them again, so just wait until you get there. Okay?
Finally, we begin our quest with the first group of challenges!
Newbie Challenges
These ones are so simple that you may get them on your first game, but there are some things to explain.
Simple enough, just kill 4 civilians/cops/players. There’s enough NPCs liying around to get 4 kills within 2 seconds of each other. Doing this also unlocks its own achievement with the same name, “Quad Kill“.
To get a backup life, obtain 4 heart pieces. They appear on loot crates, on heart crates that are marked on the map (and are highly contested) and are sometimes dropped when you kill someone (specially if they had +1 life).
Last Man StandingWin a Battle Royale round, be the “Last Man Standing” (as a human, not a zombie).
It would seem you have to level up to level 20, but you can find plenty of health packs in loot crates, heart crates and I think even supply crates. And even though 150hp is not the max amount of health possible, the “Overheal” achievement is living in the past, though you still need to reach 200hp for the challenge.
Complete a mission, they are marked with an arrow when available.
Win a Battle Royale game, be the last one standing on the final round, and then have a nice “Chicken Dinner“.
Driving fast enough and accidentally touching someone will count as a “Roadkill”
First, use your shifts as soon as you spawn up in the air. Then, get close and personal with your victim. And just when he’s entering smooching distance… slice him.
I feel like I would get this challenge done in every game I play, but maybe there are people that don’t see the fun in knifing 20 defenseless civilians.
Nowadays, the Plasma Ball isn’t a defaul skill anymore, so you’ll have to spend your Kill Coins on this one. And it’s a bad purchase, too, because the Plasma Ball sucks. I mean it doesn’t suck, sure it starts rough and can be great at full level with Fire Storm, but you don’t really “kill” with it. You start the fight with it, in most cases, so just make sure to hold onto your Plasma Ball until the enemy has at least 1 pixel of health, and then you can finish him off.
Standard Challenges
These ones are a bit more like, you know, challenges.
Get 4 stars. That’s easy to say but in the game there’s just times when the cops won’t come for you and you will need to search for them, of course without stepping out of the blue circle on the map, because you would lose your wanted level. Just try to ignore every player and only search cops. Getting 4 stars will also unlock the “Wanted” achievement.
Kill someone with a Grenade. Don’t know if Molotovs, or Bazookas count, even Flashbangs can kill someone, but just to be sure, be specific and use a grenade. You can throw them from behind cover, too, but don’t do it too close because it may bounce off to you instead.
Kill 2 people without reloading, you may get it first try if you play duos. Best guns are LMGs and Rifles.
In the menu, you can select to play Solo & Coop, and you can choose the Tutorial, but also the Survival Run. These are like Battle Royales, but with no zombies, and if you die, it’s over. After each round, you have to kill a wave of zombies (that count as kills! That will be important later!), and with each round, the enemies get tougher. There’s also Difficulty Modifiers for you to play with, but to unlock more, you need to win them first. Try to win with one of these, they are fun! But after that, focus on getting Difficulty Modifiers done on the Hardcore Survival Run (Deluxe Edition only) We’ll need them in the future, so every time you play a Hardcore Survival Run, play a new Difficulty Modifier. You will also unlock the “I’m a Survivor” achievement.
For starters, killing someone by running them over won’t count. You need to stop the car, aim at your target, and shoot (and kill). If you’re feeling extra sadistic, you can unlock the Manic Mechanic skill to be able to shoot while driving, and at full level you get no recoil penalty for doing so, which is very powerful.
Knife 5 players, on a whole match. To knife someone, make them move close to you. Find cover, peek them out, sliceee, and back off. 2 to 3 cuts in the body will do the trick, now repeat 5 times and your meal will be ready.
Get someone to mow you down while you have him at your mercy and just when you’re about to die, turn the tables on him and kill him.
You know, it’s funny that the in game tips tell you that the fastest car is the Roadster. It’s not. Grab the Buggie. The Buggie is the best. But you can’t always find the Buggie, so any car will do. Now boost into a ramp, like the one below
Watch yourself go down, gently spiraling into the ground. That’s your challenge, but remember, always grab the Buggie.
This is like the Silent Stabbings challenge, except it didn’t go so well and now you gotta get back in the game. Zombie claws and knifes are virtually the same. By killing a human with your claws, you will also revive, granting you the “Resurrection” achievement, and that’s your challenge.
In a single round, make five vehicles explode. Amazingly, 2 to 3 cuts to the car will total it, just what are these cars made out of?
Kill a player with your last bullet. Snipers are the easiest to get this one, just miss purposely a few times, and you’ll even get that bonus damage to finish off someone.
Buy anything from 5 vendors in a single round, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). If you are running low on cash, I recommend you buy grenades from 5 different vendors. They cost $500 and are really good at killing people, just throw them ahead of time. Also remember that it only counts on the Battle Royale gamemode, and also Survival Run. All Battle Royale only challenges also count on Survival Run. Play Survival Run. It’s fun. And use the Difficulty Modifiers, too.
Kill the player with the most score. And if that’s you, then the second. There’s not really much you can do here. Just good luck I guess? Well, it’s easy if you think about it, because the higher the score, the more likely that he won’t die until you kill him, so there’s that.
Do 300 damage with pistols, on a single round, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). You could do it with your starting pistol, the USP Tactical, or upgrade to the Deagle, or, if you’re really into pistols, the Tasers.
Remember Last Shot? Well now do it again 3 times. Except now, you have more leeway because critical bullets, that appear at the end of your magazine, can be added with every ammunition pack or same weapon grabbed, and it’s damage also increases too, up to 50% more damage per bullet. That’s half more bullet, per bullet!
You see the red circle in the map that shows the zone at which the gas cloud stops moving? (It doesn’t stop though, in normal gameplay it goes into overtime and keeps on closing until it’s a very small circle at the very center, it’s also a safe zone were zombies can’t materialize and instead are transformed into ghosts). Well, stay inside that circle, for 90 seconds. That’s it. Only on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run).
Use 10 different jump pads in a single round, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). These are the little glowing pads that you can stand on to jump a great height. Just search and jump on them, they are littered all over the map.
Run over 30 civilians with a car in a single match. Release the brakes. Go haywire. Unleash your true self.
Hardcore Challenges
This ones are less like challenges and more like “experiment with the mechanics“, and that’s not a bad thing actually, I really like it.
Stay alive 10 minutes, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). I don’t know if staying alive means not losing backup lives, but just to be sure, be a little more cautious about your health.
Run over 3 players in a single round, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). It’s like Road Kill, but three times over.
Kill 3 players with the Nailgun, without dying. The Nailgun is an SMG Superweapon that you can buy only from shops, at the steep price of $20000, or less if you got discounts.
Kill 10 players with rifles, on a single match. The AK47 and M4A1 are rifles, but maybe the Seek Rifle counts too.
Grab 10 cash piles in a single round, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). Pretty simple, even faster if you follow the helicopter that drops loot pretty often.
Drive for 60 seconds and don’t crash, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). I don’t remember if it also needed that you don’t stop boosting, but even if you need to, just drive in circles or in the highways at the edges of the map so you don’t have many obstacles.
Fire 500 rounds in a single life, as a human. Grab an LMG, get near a vendor, and dump your magazine everywhere. Need ammo? Buy it, rinse and repeat.
Remember that loot helicopter I mentioned earlier? Well, right as you spawn, try to land on it. You won’t be surprised.
Unlock the Phase Drifting skill, and just keep bunny hopping while shifting in the air to gain speed.
As a zombie, revive by killing the player that killed you, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). Most times you will spawn near where you die, so just return to the place and take revenge.
Kill 6 civilians/cops/players within 2 seconds of each kill. Just getting 3 stars may be enough to get this one.
Kill a player within 3 seconds of using a Warp Field. Warp Fields are a chemical that you can buy at a shop for $4000. Place one, and place two. Teleport, and kill.
Sometimes the enemy will throw a Flashbang at you. Just make sure to bring an LMG and don’t let go of your mouse button.
The Phasic Rebound skills makes your bullets bounce off walls. Now just kill someone with those bullets, it’s hard. Tight corridors are your best friends here, but don’t underestimate the power of a wall behind your enemy.
The Torpedo is a rare vehicle that you can buy at a vendor for $1500. By pressing Left Click, you can activate a 3-second timer that will explode the vehicle when it reaches 0. You know what to do.
Remember Falling Dagger? Well, now that you’ve become acknowledged by the blade, it’s time for you to release true terror on the skies. Kill 2 unknown sacrifices on the cusps of heaven, and you will be crowned with the “Flying Samurai” achievement.
Kill 3 players with Snipers in a single round, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). The Ruger, the Barrett M98B and the Photon Beam are all snipers and, as so, count for this challenge.
Insane Challenges (Part one)
Even if you call them “Insane“, these challenges oscilate in difficulty from easy, to hard, to random-event-that-you-have-to-be-really-lucky-to-get-or-just-have-a-dummy-account type challenges.
Kill a player while dead. This one’s hard, not just because of the luck involved, but because after each kill, you get health, and so does your enemy. So every time you try to kill him, he will get out unharmed because he healed when he killed you. So what’s the solution? Throw everything at him. Radiate? Check. Toxic Blood? Check. Venom Shot? Check. Getting him low before he kills you? Check. Now just try this strategy and change it to your liking, because completing this challenge also gives you the “Grim Reaper” achievement.
⠀
Don’t worry if you can’t get this one! Honestly, it’s the last challenge I completed, so just move on from this one until you really need to. But once you feel like it, feel the satisfaction, because, that’s your challenge.
If you thought Fire Bomb was hard, then this will make you very happy. You have to kill 2 players with the same Plasma Ball. The same strategy works as in Fire Bomb, but now you need to get 2 people low on health, and if you are playing Duos, two people against you. Anyway, if you took my advice and are playing Survival Run, you would notice that the zombies after each round count as kills! That’s why they’re important. Now, you can do these kill challenges with players with the health of civilians! So I’m sorry I didn’t tell you before. But now that we have a sufficiently difficult challenge that I had to reveal the secret, you can rest in peace knowing you don’t need to suffer anymore. Also, keep up with those Difficulty Modifiers! They’re important! So, play Survival Run, get to the zombie round, launch a Plasma Ball, or two, and that’s your challenge.
Unlock the Spike Trap skill. Find an enemy driving a car. Use the skill. Watch. If you’re lucky, it may explode, and that’s your challenge.
If you stand on an enemy chemical, you can capture it and get the benefits of that chemical. Do that and that’s your challenge.
Win a single round without damaging civilians or cops, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). For one round, let your intrusive thoughts inside your head, and that’s your challenge.
Revive, not by killing a human, but by getting 4 heart pieces, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). Everyone’s notified when Heart Crates begin their countdown, and some are only for the zombies, as they are far beyond into the toxic gas. Revive like this, and that’s your challenge.
Own 10 chemicals placed on the map. They don’t have to be yours, just capture them and throw some of your own chemicals into the mix. Chemicals are bought at vendors for around $5000. Buy them and that’s your challenge, and also the “Base Builder” achievement.
Win all 3 rounds of a Battle Royale match. If you’re feeling lost, you can use my strategy: Drop down, search for guns, go for Loot Crates, go for Heart Crates, do a mission every time it’s available, try to get Tier 2 weapons on Round 2, use all your money to get a super weapon on Round 3 and go for Heart Crates until you’re at full hearts, then go for Loot Crates and win the round. If you think you need a skill build, here’s mine, which has the most broken abilities in the game, the ones where you don’t need to look at the enemy, and some health and utility skills I think are neat:
⠀
Winning all 3 rounds will also grant us the “Always on Top” achievement.
Heal 100hp with the Self Repair skill, in a single life. Find a toxic liquid, a fire hazard, or anything that will damage you upon touching. Now, let yourself be damaged, and when you fear you may die, get off, and use Self Repair. Rinse and repeat, and that’s your challenge.
You have to kill a player with the bullets from Return Fire, or Bouncing Bullets. Suffice it to say, Return Fire is the easiest of the two skills, because the bullets will steer towards enemies, instead of just bouncing off a shield. Unfortunately, zombies don’t fire bullets, so they cannot be used. Just try very hard not to kill someone, let them dump their magazine on you (of course with Bullet Time on) and look at the bullets return to them. If you played it well, he will die, and that’s your challenge.
Step one, search for players on vehicles. Step two, knife the vehicle (and pray he doesn’t get off). Step three, watch the vehicle explode (and the enemy survive, somehow). Step four, that’s your challenge.
Kill 2 enemies with the same Molotov Cocktail. Now this one really works with zombies, so just play a Survival Run, get a Molotov, and keep it until the zombie wave. Throw it, and that’s your challenge.
Destroy 10 vehicles in under 5 seconds. We’ll need to group them up, however sometimes cars spawn in large groups of parked cars, that you can use to your advantage here.
⠀
If you find one of these, try to get more cars from the surrounding neighbourhood. Steal parked cars, rob civilians of their cars, call the police for a nice and easy vehicle drop, and group them up real thight.
⠀
Once you got ten, just ignite one of them, and then watch the fireworks, because even that gives you an achievement, the “Chain Reaction” achievement, and also, that’s your challenge.
Insane Challenges (Part two)
Kill 2 players with the same bullet. Zombies are relevant again, because the only weapons that have piercing rounds are the Barrett M98B, the Photon Beam, and the Nailgun, and the snipers are truly efficient at killing zombies with one bullet. Line them up, and that’s your challenge.
⠀
And in doing this, you also get the “Golden Bullet” achievement.
Take 500 damage from enemies without dying. Health skills are really useful here, just peek, let them hit you, hide, recover, and peek again. Don’t let them kill you, and that’s your challenge.
You are probably thinking: “Zombies?”. Yeah, zombies. In the process, you may or may not already have gotten the trio of achievements this challenge comes with. Getting a x4 kill streak will give you the “OWNAGE” achievement. Getting a x8 kill streak will give you the “UNSTOPPABLE” achievement. And getting a x12 kill streak will give you the “GODLIKE” achievement, and also, that’s your challenge.
Save up $20000, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). There’s not really much to say here, just do more missions, I guess? Yeah, do more missions… And that’s your challenge.
Kill 5 zombies in a single round, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). Do exactly what you’re thinking, and that’s your challenge.
Except that, if you go only a little higher, killing 10 zombies in a single round, you can get the “Pest Control” achievement.
Ultimate Challenges (Part one)
Now we get into the hardest challenges in the game, which consist of maxing out certain mechanics and doing impressive feats you can’t really show off to anybody.
Open 3 Supply Crates in a single match. Pretty simple, just play like normal, and that’s your challenge.
Obtain the maximum number of 6 Shifts. Open enough Heart Crates and you may get this one easily. Getting 6 Shifts will grant you the “Get Shifty” achievement, and that’s your challenge.
Stay in the toxic gas for 30 seconds as a human, and without dying or using vehicles, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). Get a good amount of health points, say 150hp, then try it. If you feel like you’re gonna die, use Self Repair. If you survive, that’s your challenge.
Win a Battle Royale match killing 2 players each round. It would be weird if you didn’t kill anybody during a round, so just play normal, try to win, and that’s your challenge.
Kill 3 enemies with a Shotgun, while on a vehicle, on a single round, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). That’s quite the long description, but it’s actually pretty simple. Use the Manic Mechanic skill, grab either the M3 Super, the SPAS 12, or the Blast Cannon, find a vehicle, enter the vehicle, drive near someone, and press Left Click. This tactic not only is quite fun, it’s also very powerful, and can mince whole teams pretty fast. So put this knowledge to the test, and that’s your challenge.
Remember that this only counts on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). First, kill a cop. Then wait for a bit and a wave of police cars will arrive. Deal with them, and maybe a second wave will come soon. If not, search for them, but look out for the blue circle on the map, as if you go outside of it, you’ll lose your Wanted level (it follows you slowly). After a certain amount of dead officers, you’ll get into a 4 star wanted level, which would give you the “Wanted” achievement, if you didn’t do Special Forces (Standard Challenges). But watch out! Now black police cars will arrive, with stronger police officers, and in higher numbers. By now, you have used more than half of the round fighting or searching cops, and the circle is closing on you, but keep fighting. After another wave, you’ll finally reach the 5 starts wanted level. And that’s your challenge (good luck surviving that).
Kill 2 players with a single cast of the Radiate skill. If you use Radiate a lot, this may come out as natural. If you don’t, then remember that Radiate has bonus damage if the bomb hits the target, and that the skill size is massive. Get two people low, or intervene in a fight, with the power of “if your screen can reach it, that’s how far you can throw Radiate“. Do any of the two, secure 2 kills with Radiate, and that’s your challenge.
Spin a vehicle 360 degrees in the air. Now that’s a bit tricky, unless you’re using the Buggie. The Buggie is always the better option. Now go to this ramp on the map:
⠀
Now with our preffered Buggie, we’ll back off so we can build up speed. Backing off around this far is fine:
⠀
Now, boost yourself up to the ramp, and in the last second, turn right. This will send the Buggie to the right, giving it more space to fly, and giving it a spin, that depending on the quality, will be a 360 degree spin, and that’s your challenge.
Earn the maximum amount of lives on the Survival Run (and maybe in normal Battle Royale, but I don’t know). Search for more Heart Crates, try to not take damage, and that’s your challenge, and also the “2 Hearts in 1” achievement.
Kill 5 vendors in a single round, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). A Knife will do the job. Take revenge for all the bad deals you had to buy in, and that’s your challenge.
You need to blast yourself 50 meters up into the air. That’s easy on paper, but frustating in practice. First, you’ll need a Bazooka. Find it on Loot Crates or buy it from vendors. Second, group a bunch of cars together. Or look out for the parked cars, like these ones:
⠀
Yeah, just to be sure, get as many vehicles as you can (before the toxic gas gets to you lol). This should be alright:
⠀
Now, get in the center of it all, and jump. Just as you reach the highest point in the jump, throw the Bazooka to your feet. This will cause you to jump, and simultaneously start exploding every car in range. And so, while you stay a couple seconds levitating, your feet will already feel the heat of the incoming mayhem. Enjoy your launch, because that’s your challenge.
It’s like What’s in the Box?, but like, you loot the Supply Crates after? They really went out of ideas for this one. Anyway, just collect 3 scores from Supply Crates in a single round, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run), and that’s your challenge.
Kill 2 players with the same Bazooka. Now that’s an impossible feat, just how often do you see two players not fighting each other (not in Duos or Squads), and close enough to be damaged by a Bazooka? And both on low health? and they don’t dodge the Bazooka? Those chances are the ones I’m not gonna take, by playing Survival Run, going into zombie round, firing a Bazooka, and that’s your challenge.
Land 10 shots without missing with the Barrett M98B, in a single round, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). Now, why only the Barrett M98B? Why not other snipers? The Barret M98b has the smallest magazine out of all snipers! (6 bullets, the other two snipers have 8 bullets). So why? Well, it has to do with I don’t know, so try to not miss, and that’s your challenge.
Ultimate Challenges (Part two)
Reach 20 skill points on a single match, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). There’s not really much to say here, you are expected to level up to get to the final round, and most people get to level 10 before Round 3, so play normally, maybe a little more tryhard, contest more Supply Crates, get to Mutant level 20, and that’s your challenge.
Win a single Solo round killing only with the Knife or Claws, on the Battle Royale gamemode (or Survival Run). This is a funny one, until you try it, of course. Play it safe, you’re not really in a position to kill everybody you encounter. Flee more often than fight, and just when you’re one on one with the final enemy, attack. If you did it right, as you have done before, that’s your challenge.
Now this one is going all out. Win an entire Battle Royale Solo match, without dying. No losing backup lives, too. And winning all rounds. If you need a strategy, check the Always on Top (Insane Challenge Part one). But if you’re ready… This is your time. Show the world, or the bots, what you’ve become. A true master of using overpowered skills. Yeah, that’s the spirit, go on, that’s your challenge.
No, this is not a challenge. You really made it, you’ve completed all challenges! By now, you should have unlocked the “Challenges Completed” achievement. But it doesn’t end there, as there a whole lot of achievements left to go!
So, why don’t we play other modes apart from Battle Royale, huh? You can play Conquest, with no toxic gas or zombies, and if you capture a control point, you can even get the “This is Mine” achievement.
Okay, that’s enough for new gamemodes. The next achievements require the Deluxe Edition. Remember when I told you to unlock all Difficulty Modifiers on Hardcore Survival Run? Great, because you’ll be playing that from now on, as the next 3 achievements are so hard, I’m glad I didn’t need to do them.
For the “Hardcore Survivalist” achievement, you need to get 600 score on a Hardcore Survival Run. For the “Expert Survivalist” achievement, you need to get 1000 score. And for the “Ultimate Survivalist” achievement, you need to get 1400 score.
⠀
If you’re asking yourself, yes, that’s a lot of points. So much so, that you’re required to use Difficulty Modifiers to get there. Let’s take a look at how many modifiers do we need, shall we? First, let’s look at the best of the best, and the worst of the worst. Our professional player here Hank has provided us with his try at this achievement, shown to the right. To the left, you can see my results, after my first try, playing at 3 AM.
⠀
As you can see, I’m trash, but even the best of the best won’t get to 1400 score without Difficulty Modifiers. So how many do we need? Well, let’s take a look at how many scores you would get from every Modifier:
⠀
If we take into account that you won’t play worse than me, you’ll need at least 300 scores worth of Difficulty Modifiers. That means all 6 hard modifiers, or 6 easy modifiers and 6 medium modifiers, or a mix of the three. Now, what’s the most efficient mix? It comes down to your playstyle, but I’ve chosen quite a few that I think don’t make much of a difference and sum up to 300 scores:
⠀
Minefield: Because it’s fun and also not very hard to dodge mines.
Skill Lottery: Your skills are already randomized, so it just makes it easier to choose.
Rapid Zombies: You can outrun zombies by shifting or driving any vehicle.
Aggresive Cops: Just don’t damage civilians, and escape cops. They’re really slow.
Explosive Retaliation: Shift immediately after every nearby kill.
Driveby Shootings: Enemies are even more braindead in vehicles.
Strapped for Cash: Who waits on the Kill Contract to get money? Dear god, just do missions.
Army of Clones: Imagine, a whole server with the same skill maxed. And it’s Chemical Boost.
Super Swarm: Zombies are just a bother once you know how to use the Knife or have a Sniper.
Assassinations: You now have a squad against you. Wait, you already did? Well, here’s more.
With the Difficulty Modifiers sorted out, you can now start trying your best at these achievements.

Other Achievements
Okay, if you’re still here, that means either you won the achievements, or you just skipped them, which is fine. Difficulty only goes down from now on.
If you’ve done the “Challenges Completed” achievement, then you would have gotten the “Money Bags” achievement, as completing all challenges gives you a total of 2210 Kill Coins. In the mean time, you leveled up your account, and grown your Skill stats, so that’ll give you even more Kill Coins. If you earn 5000 Kill Coins, you’ll have the “Big Spender” achievement. And if you reach 10000 Kill Coins earned, you’ll have the “Bounty Hunter” achievement.
Why don’t we talk about all the ways you can spend that money? Well, there’s buying skills, buying skill stats… and that’s it. But buying 24 Skills will give you the “Explorer” achievement. And unlocking all Skills will grant you the “Gotta Get ‘Em All” achievement.
But before that, as we’ve said, first you need to level up enough levels to have all those Kill Coins! And yes, there are achievements for leveling up as well. Reaching level 20 gives you the “Mini Mutant Man” achievement. Reaching level 50, the “Half Mutant, Half Machine” achievement. And after reaching level 100, you’ll obtain a nice skin and medallion, and the “Genetic Drift” achievement. Take advantage of Skill stats, Difficulty Modifiers, random queue Battle Royale Bonus, Bonus XP events, and Hardcore Mode, and levels will keep on adding themselves.
Now let’s see the easiest achievement so far. You can’t tell me you went through the entire game without destroying at least 100 vehicles. It’s just too fun to miss out! But if you’re like that, I guess you wouldn’t mind missing out on the “Demolition Man” achievement…
Something I could forgive is if you missed out on the “BEYOND GODLIKE” achievement, killing 10 civilians/cops/players within 2 seconds of each kill.
⠀
Except if you took my advice, because there’s no way you didn’t do a kill streak like that with all the zombies that come after you in Survival Run. If you get overwhelmed, bring a Tier 2 or higher sniper, and line them up. Watch the magic.
And finally, we reach the last three achievements. I left them for last because you would have made quite the progress in these while you were doing the other achievements. But if these are the only ones you have left, then let’s get on with it.
First we’ll need to reach 100 kills, and we’ll be rewarded with the “Massacre” achievement. Pretty easy. Next, is the milestone of 1000 kills, that’ll give us the “Slaughterer“. That’s a huge leap. And finally, we’ll need to reach 3000 kills for the game to grant us the “Genocide” achievement. That’s ludicrous.

So, how do you go on about completing these? Well, remember unlocking all Difficulty Modifiers on Hardcore Survival Run? It wasn’t a waste of time, now you’ll be able to use the Super Swarm modifier to get more kills. So many kills in fact, that even if you played nonstop Deathmatch, you wouldn’t get as many! First are my results after a Standard Survival Run with Super Swarm enabled. Second are my results after a Hardcore Survival Run with Super Swarm disabled. And third are Hank’s results after a Hardcore Survival Run with Super Swarm enabled.
This should be enough proof that, if you want to farm kills, Super Swarm is the way to go, even for F2P players!
