This guide will help you find 22 secret places to unlock rogue servant skills or finish special missions.

What Are Those

The key locations we’re talking about are hidden spots scattered throughout Edo. They’re called “hidden” because you won’t see them unless you press the R3 button. When you touch these spots, they do a bunch of helpful things: they restore your health, valor, affinity, and give you some gems. Cool, right?

You’ll need to touch all of these hidden spots to complete missions from a specific NPC in Yoshiwara.

Plus, some of these spots are essential to unlocking the skills of certain rogue servants.

Quick tip: As you play through the story, keep in mind that a few spots won’t be reachable later on. Make sure you touch those ones first before you reach that point in the story. Happy hunting!

Map and List of Locations

Asakusa

In this area, there are two important keys.

  • Key 01 is right beneath the huge lantern. You won’t overlook it; it’s easy to spot.
  • Key 02 is a bit trickier. It’s inside a locked area, and you won’t be able to get to it until you’ve reached a certain point in the story.

Okachimachi

In this area, there are two keys you need to find.

  • Key 03 is located on the bridge.
  • Key 04 is right in front of the temple in the center of the town.

Ueno (Rogue Rider skill)

In this specific area in Ueno, there’s only one key to discover.

  • Key 05 is in the middle of the lake, but you won’t be able to reach it until you’ve progressed to a certain point in the story. And remember, you’ll need to touch this spot to unlock a skill in Tamaweed’s skill tree.

Suidobachi

Suidobachi offers Key 06 that can be obtained on the bridge.

Torikoe

In Torikoe, you will be able to grab Key 07 in front of the shrine.

Kanda (Rogue Assassin Skill)

Kanda has Key 08, and it’s tucked away on the far left of the map, in the last area.

Just like in Ueno, you won’t be able to access it until you’ve advanced in the story. And remember, you’ll need this key to unlock the cool Chinese grandpa’s skill.

Yanagiwara

Key 09 is just right in front of the small shrine.

Akasaka

In Akasaka, you’ll find Key 10 right below the Chinese gate.

Important note: Be aware that this area becomes inaccessible after a certain point in the story, so make sure to grab the key before that happens.

Zojo-ji (Rogue Lancer Skill)

Zojo-ji features Key 11 which can be found below the gate shown in the screenshot below. It also unlocks the Blue Doggo Skill.

Shinagawa

Shinagawa has two keys waiting to be found.

  • Key 12 is over on the far left of the map.
  • Key 13 is perched at the top of the mountain.

Kawasaki

In the middle of the town in Kawasaki, you can grab Key 14 near the incense burner.

Kanagawa (Rogue Archer skill)

Key 15 is hiding in the ruined castle at the top of the mountain.

And finding this key is essential to unlocking the super Indian hero’s skill.

Tamanawa

Just in front of the large Buddha statue in Tamanawa, you can grab Key 16.

Yokosuka

Yokosuka has two keys for you.

Key 17 can be found right in front of the princess’s ship. And Key 18 is waiting for you in the southern area where there are lots of statues.

Todoroki

Todoroki has two keys to discover.

Key 19 is located in front of the shrine. Key 20 can be found in front of the small statue inside the cave.

Kan’ei-ji

In Kan’ei-ji, you’ll find the last two keys.

Key 21 is right in front of the shrine. And Key 22 is waiting for you in the far upper-left area of the map. Good luck, and enjoy unlocking all those secrets!
