The Most Useful Crops to Farm

You can make Corn Soupout of corn, which satisfies food and water.

You can craft vegetable starch out of Corn + Mutfruit + Tatos, which grants you adhesive.

Melon juice has HP regen which is pretty useful.

So, the final verdict is, that Cornis the best crop to grow for foodpurposes, by crafting Corn Soup, and Tatosare the best crop to grow for sellingpurposes. Tatos are superior to corn for selling to NPCs because they #1 take longer to spoil, and #2, they are a much smaller crop in size; It’s much easier to farm dozens of little tato plants than it is corn stalks.
