Nightmare Reaper – How to Access NG+ and Hospital Guide

A quick guide showing you the steps needed to complete the hospital and access NG+ in Nightmare Reaper.

Introducción

A common question I’ve seen asked is «how do you access NG+», so I figured it would be a good idea to make a quick guide.

Para decirlo simplemente, in order to get to NG+ you have to complete all the steps of the hospital. I’ve listed each step in order and when they are earliest available to complete. If an item isn’t there or a door isn’t open make sure to SLEEP IN THE BED in order to advance the hospital state.

Paso 1

First available after completing Spore Pit (Nivel 6)

The door to your room will be open

Go out into the hall and take a right.

.ick up keycard on the floor.

Paso 2

First available after completing Sulfuric Mines (Nivel 15)

Nota: This is also when you are able to access the Arena for the first time. More details about that in the section below.

Leave your room and turn left to find the gate open

Go through the gate and take another left
Follow this hallway until you reach an office

Pick up keys from the table

Paso 3

First available after completing Putrid Sewers (Nivel 21)

Go back to the gate from last step and take two rights to find the door blocked open.

Take a left and follow the stairs down (right and up for an Arena Token).

Check the table on the right and grab the keycard.

Paso 4

First available after completing your second level set in Chapter 2 (Nivel 34)

You’ll wake up to find everything red and an alarm blaring.

Ir back downstairs to the canteen and take a left to find the door open.

Take a left and follow the hallway till you reach a boiler room.

Agarrar the keys and use the panel to turn off the alarm.

Paso 5

First available after completing your fifth level set in Chapter 2 (Nivel 43)

A piece of paper will have been slipped under your room door. Recógelo.

Go to the office from Step 2 and use the wall panel to reactivate the alarm and reopen the door in the canteen.

Go to the panel in the boiler room and deactivate the alarm once more.

Then go to the door you pass in the hallway to get there.

Tú can now use the keypad and get inside.

Paso 6

First available after your seventh level set in Chapter 2 (Nivel 49)

You will wake up to hear a loud thud.

Repeat the process from Step 5 in order to get back to the same room.

You will find a cabinet knocked over and a set of keys on the floor.

You can then use these keys to unlock the first cage door in the boiler room.

Paso 7

First available after completing The Wasteland 1 (Nivel 56)

You should hear some kind of rain noise

If you go to the stairs and go right and up you’ll find the door open with yellow caution tape across it

Activate the tape to remove it and go inside

Paso 8

First available after Sorcerer’s Mansion 1 (Nivel 65)

Head back upstairs to find the cabinet at the end of the room moved and a new area open.

Paso 9

First available after Buried Ruins 1 (Nivel 74)

Head back upstairs to find a pair of bolt cutters on the ground in the corner.

You can use these in the nearby room (from Step 8) to cut the chains and grab the set of keys

Repeat the process from Step 5 in order to get back downstairs to the boiler room

You will now be able to unlock the second cage door in the basement and reach an outside area.

Paso 10

First available after defeating the final boss

Repeat all the steps needed to get back to the basement and to the outdoors area

You will find a tree along the edge has been broken

Jump over it to find a small area with a teddy bear

Grab the teddy bear to complete the hospital and unlock NG+

How to access the Arena and acquire the Jade minigame / árbol de habilidades

ohnce Step 2 is available if you head towards the stairs but turn left instead of right you will find a room with a bed in it

Using this bed will warp you to the Arena area and allow you to get your first Arena token (Unlocks new arenas to play in) and the cartridge for the Jade minigame.

Nota: New Arena tokens are found throughout the hospital as you unlock new areas. You’ll easily find all 8 simply by going through the hospital as required, with each new step typically granting you access to a new token.
