Secret Rocket Launcher in Arbeit 1 Location
Keep going in the chapter like you usually would. Your Combine friends will catch up with you as you blast your way into the main Arbeit 1 facility. Move up the stairs, shooting at any rebels you come across in the hallways.
After a while, you’ll reach a room that is currently being fixed up. It’s this room.
The door in front leads to a different part of the game, but we don’t want to go there yet. There’s a big hole in the floor, and an even bigger one in the ceiling. You can’t miss it, rebels will be shooting at you from above. Quickly take them all out before they destroy too many objects.
Now, what’s next?
Our aim is to reach the upper floor. Since there are no ladders, stairs, or elevators, we need to get creative. You can move around the larger wooden crates scattered in the area, just be careful not to break them.
There are also smaller crates around that you can pick up, including one on the lower floor. You’ll need to stack about three boxes (unless you can manage four), and use an extra object for added reach. Here’s my suggestion.
Chuckling is allowed. It’s a bit shaky and old-school, but if you’ve got more genius moves than I do, go for it. Stack three crates with a vintage gaming monitor on the top – this should be barely high enough to get to the upper floor.
Now, when you’re up there, you might spot a blue door tucked away in the corner, just behind that light. You’d likely figure it out by now, but the rocket launcher is waiting for you on a crate next to it.
Great job, you’ve got your hands on the launcher! However, what you decide to blast with it is totally your call – just a heads up, you can’t keep it forever.
Now, while you’re hanging out on the upper floor…
There’s another little something to explore up here. It’s not a game-changer, just a neat Easter egg. Look for a door leading to a pitch-black hallway, right across from the pit. Take a look, and don’t forget to turn on your night vision.
