Boneraiser-Minions – Sorcerer Hollow Guide

Before the Run

I would recommend having the „Ensorzellous Erinnerungen“ class metas unlocked as soon as possible to allow for more storage of spell scrolls.

I would also recommend unlocking the „Entrailum Enchantmentus“ „Der Zauber ist Invigoratum“ „Spellum Spediatum“ Und „Wraithen Husk“ class metas as soon as possible to make the run more or less trivial. These metas will give you a good supply of spell scrolls early and give you good bonuses for hoarding your scrolls (which is what we’re going to be doing for most of the run).

The Run

Contrary to what one might expect with the Sorcerer Hollow class, the best strategy is to hoard your spells, not use them. By using the class metas available, the Sorcerer Hollow can become one of the more agile and tanky classes in the game.

Während des Laufs, you will mainly want to take the Warlock minion (and any evolutions you are offered for it) whenever it is offered, and I would recommend taking at least one or two other minions (I prefer the guard or the bomber) and maxing them out as soon as possible as well. The minions you pick that aren’t the Warlock should be chosen with damage/close-quarters combat in mind, and should be able to help you clear out intermediate waves throughout the run. It is reasonable to combine them into the Fister giant as well as offered, but also consider leveling them up to rank 3 and taking any daemon evolutions that are offered.

The doppelganger, while synergistic with the class meta, is not very impressive in my experience. I will sometimes take one late into a run if it is offered, but oftentimes just roll past it in favor of finding more Warlocks.

Relikte

Generally you will want to take relics that increase the tankiness of the Sorcerer Hollow

-Soul Taint, Enboned Heart, Ward Amulet, and Virginal Bow are all solid relics that increase and help you maintain and regenerate your health, and by taking them early in the run you will be able to survive easily into the endgame with few issues. Bottled Fairy is also useful in this regard for obvious reasons (extra lives never hurt anyone).

-Aromatic Mushroom is useful for using dashing strategies to avoid damage, but is not really necessary if it can’t be found.

-Repulsive Face and Deamon Hole are solid options to help in situations where you might get stuck in a crowd of enemies, and they should help keep the pressure off long enough for your minions to clean up the issue, with the bones dropped healing you back up through your other relics chosen.

All other relics are more or less personal preference/situationally good if you can find a use for them, but as long as you are able to get a couple of the relics listed above, you should be smooth sailing

NOTIZ: You can take Sorcery Wand if you really want to focus on a spell-casting style build on your Sorcerer, but for the purposes of this strategy in this guide, it isn’t going to be very useful for you due to the lack of spell casting. It is up to you.

Zauber

Wie bereits erwähnt, the Sorcerer gets a lot of value from hoarding spells rather than using them. Im Allgemeinen, I elect to hoard spells that might help in an emergency if I get caught in a rough spot, and only use them when such a situation arises. Aus diesem Grund, the best spells to take are:

-Snowblow Snowman is a free „oh crap“ button that should stall things out long enough for your minions to clean up the mess you’ve gotten yourself into

-Heart Wrangler can spawn heals that can be picked up quickly to replenish a large amount of HP quickly, but consider hoarding this spell and letting the increased HP regen you will get for holding onto it from your class meta heal you up instead.

-Drain Boner can be good if you can use it instantly after acquiring it to further increase your max HP and overall tankiness.

-As far as the more offensively-minded spells, I prefer Devil’s Ball of Doom because I feel as though it has the best enemy tracking and destruction out of the options, and it can usually clear a path for you to walk through and try to kite the enemies around in if necessary.

Be sure to only use spells if you have to because of the benefits of just hoarding them given by your class metas.

Abschluss

The Sorcerer Hollow (Zum Zeitpunkt des Schreibens dieses Leitfadens) has the lowest game completion ratio out of all the classes, yet I think the run can be very easy if following this guide.
