In the game, you have the opportunity to name your cult, but once you choose a name, it becomes permanent. However, there is a way to change the cult name without starting over from the beginning. Here’s what you need to do.
Requirements
Before you can rename your cult, you must first build the temple and perform a doctrine. Once these requirements are met, you can proceed with changing the cult name whenever you want.
Doing Your First Doctrine
If you haven’t performed a doctrine yet, continue playing the game until you come across a room where you’ll find three stone parts of a stone tablet. Collect all three parts, as this will allow you to initiate a doctrine. Keep progressing in the game until you return to your cult.
Once you’re back at your cult, go to the temple and approach the table at the back. Select the crown option next to the sermon. This will bring up a page where you need to click on the book at the top. Then, choose one of the five icons displayed in the new pop-up. Afterward, pick a card carefully (note that this choice cannot be changed later) and charge power into it to lock it.
Rename Your Cult
Now that your first doctrine is complete, you can change the name of your cult as many times as you like. While still at the table in the temple, click on the new doctrine icon located on the far right. A book will appear and open to the crown page. Look at the bottom of the left page, where you’ll find the options to view followers and rename cult. Click on “rename cult” and enter a new name for your cult. From there, you can change your cult’s name at any time.
By following these steps, you’ll be able to modify your cult’s name without having to start the game over. Enjoy the flexibility and continue your journey in the game with your newly named cult.
