Each of the operators can be unlocked by completing different requirements. So, here’s the list of all the Operators and how to unlock them in MW2. This list features only base game operators. To unlock Ghost, Soap and Farah you need to buy the Vault edition of the game, or deluxe upgrade if you already own base edition.
Two Mil-sim Operators is unlocked by default and will not be in this guide.
Aksel (KORTAC)
You need to get 20 kills in a single Multiplayer Match to unlock Aksel.
Calisto (KORTAC)
Get 5 Headshots in a single Multiplayer match to unlock Calisto.
Conor (KORTAC)
You need to get 5 Hipfire kills in a single multiplayer match to unlock Conor.
Fender (KORTAC)
Get 2 kills with the launcher weapon in a single multiplayer match to unlock Fender.
Horangi (KORTAC)
Get 5 Kingslayer kills in a single multiplayer match to unlock Horangi.
Hutch (KORTAC)
Complete the 17th mission titled the Countdown to unlock Hutch.
König (KORTAC)
Do a finishing move on a enemy to unlock König.
Roze (KORTAC)
You need to get a Point Blank kill to unlock Roze.

Get two revenge kills in a single multiplayer match to unlock Stiletto.
Zero (KORTAC)
Complete the second Spec Ops mission titled the Denied Area to unlock Zero.
Chuy (SPECGRU)
Complete the sixth mission titled Cartel Protection in the campaign mode to unlock Chuy.
Gus (SPECGRU)
You need to get 5 assists in a single multiplayer match to unlock Gus.
Kleo (SPECGRU)
Get a kill with the lethal equipment to unlock Kleo.
Nova (SPECGRU)
Complete the 10th mission titled Violence and Timing in the campaign mode to unlock Nova.
Reyes (SPECGRU)
