This guide will show you how to figure out and solve the mind link brain puzzle in the Necrotic Laboratory during Act 2 in the Mind Flayer colony beneath Moonrise Tower in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Mind Link Brain Puzzle Solution Guide
Once you get below Moonrise Tower and reach the Mind Flayer colony, head to the southernmost part of the map. There, you’ll find the Necrotic Laboratory. To the southeast of the Lab, you’ll spot a platform. Jump down onto it, and you’ll see a console. Clicking on this console activates the mind link puzzle. Your task is to connect different parts of the brain from the console to their matching images at the other end. The challenge is that you can’t use the same nodes more than once.
Here are the parts of the brain and their corresponding colors: Reason (purple), Memory (green), Emotion (yellow), and Speech (blue).
As you solve the puzzle, Reason will follow a path at the top, Emotion will move somewhat towards the bottom, and Memory and Speech will intersect roughly halfway across the puzzle.
