This guide contains the locations of all the Goody caves in Aveyond 3-1 Lord of Twilight. Note that these caves are game changers. If it’s your first play-through, I’d recommend skipping these for the best experience. The blue chests you will come across cannot be opened yet. They will become available in Aveyond Gates Of Night.
Shadow Woods (North) – Level Goodie Cave
Location:
Head to the middle of the woods until you find some stairs. The cave is just to the left of it. Inside you will find a gnome & a lever. Speaking to the gnome will reveal that pulling the lever increases your level by +1 each time.
Loot:
- +1 Level Up
Thail Mountains South – Weapons Goody Cave
Inside this cave you will find a gnome and some chests. Speaking to the gnome will reveal that the chests contain “The best weapons in the land”.
Location:
Upon entering Thial Mountains South, head West and then slightly North.
Loot:
- Crusher
- Staff of Light
- Osmium Dagger
- Thor
- Sun Diamond
Brightwood Forest – Gold Goody Cave
Location:
Exit Thais and head south-west of the woods until you find a bridge with a signpost below it. Go over the small river and continue along the path until you reach some stairs. Ignore it and head west to find a small waterfall. The cave is to the right of it. Inside you’ll find another gnome and 6 piles of gold. Each pile contains 100 000 gold coins.
Loot:
- 600,000 Gold Coins
Thais Mountain (North) – Equipment Goody Cave
Inside this cave you will find another gnome and some chests. Speaking to the gnome will reveal that the chests contain “The best equipment in the land”. Here you will find the best armor in the game.
Location:
Upon entering Thial Mountains North, head east and then slightly north.
Loot:
- x5 Skull Helmets
- Shadow Uniform
- Cloak of Death
- Winged Shoes
- x5 Blessed Shields
- x3 Shadow Armor
Stormbend – Spell Cave
Inside you will find a gnome and two spellbooks. Reading the one to the right teaches Stella all available spells in the game.
Location:
Head towards the top left area of the city. You will see a chest. The entrance is to the left where the coast meets the mountain.
Loot:
All available spells in the game.
