The developer of Anaphora has released a new update for the game on April 23, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.
Hello Everyone!
First of all, thank you for checking out the game during FPSFest. I really appreciate it!
This update is a little late to the fest unfortunately.
Biggest addition is the mana system! The health orb is no longer lonely, it has got a blue friend!
-Dash and Grappling Hook use mana now, so you can’t just spam them anymore.
-The Grimoire weapon uses mana as ammo.
-There are a couple new mana-related Upgrades.
Other changes:
-The Jester now offers unique upgrades if you complete his challenge.
-The winter-themed arena is gone, and the green grass is back.
-Enemy health is rebalanced slightly, enemies got steadily stronger with each wave before, now there are additional jumps after each boss wave.
-Bosses have been reworked to be more dynamic and (hopefully) more fun to fight.
And some bugfixes, adjustments and tweaks of course.
