The Map

This map provides the numbering system for the guide that follows.

If anyone spots any errors in my counting of the various trees and resources, please feel free to let me know and I’ll update the guide.

Oasis 1

The most south-westerly of the oases. A deep pool entirely surrounded by rocks.

Oasis 2

North-North-east of Oasis 1. Notable for its central island which the scolomorphs can’t reach. Hyenas sometimes frequent this watering hole.

Oasis 3

Due north of your original starting spot. More of a puddle than a pool. Often frequented by hyenas.

Most likely the first oasis you find if you follow the tutorial early on.

Horse-shoe shape, south of the pyramid. Go into the cave at the base of the horseshoe for a small waterfall. Almost always has Hyenas (good early source of leather).

South-east of the Pyramid and east of Oasis 5. Good source of Hemp in the early game.
