I made this to keep track of a lot of information that I struggled to learn without the assistance of other players.
Controls
Most importantly, to pick up items, just grip them. If you wanna eat this item, put it to your face for a few seconds. If you want to put it in your inventory, just move the item to your stomach or behind your head.
THE GLIDE GUIDE ~ hold your arms out wide whilst in the air. Depending on your height, you may have to reach out rather far. Consider jumping and then gliding to get across short gaps! Watch your stamina, because it runs out when gliding.
CLIMBING? Gripping pretty much any solid object will allow you to freely move your body placement. Do this to climb over obstacles, reach ridiculous heights, or to grab items you wouldn’t be able to grab otherwise.
VALVe Index Controller (DEFAULT)
- Left Hand B – Minimap (Appears on your wrist)
- Left Hand A – Menu Screen (Access to all menus from here)
- Right Hand A – Jump (Uses stamina)
- Right Hand B – Class Activatable Skill (Has cooldown)
- Triggers – Enhance weapon with power/Fire weapon depending on class + Use item in hand
Information and Advice
AMARA’S TEARS: Can be found once per character at each of their pre-determined locations. These do not take up an inventory slot and get put into your quest inventory instead. These can be turned in at specific locations for permanent stat boosts. They are often hidden, so exploring corners, pools of water, caves, etc, is encouraged.
Amara’s Tear:
CADENCE STRIKE: Three successful consecutive full damage strikes in the same direction. Triggers spell on melee class.
Crafting Items
ENHANCEMENT DUST – There are many variations of enhancement dust based on level. These are earned and used (along with money) to upgrade your pre-existing armour and weapons at enhancement stations
Enhancement Station:
DANCING SPARK – A vital ingredient in crafting new gear via synthesis stations.
MISC DROPS – There are plenty of items that go into your quest item section of your inventory that drop from slain enemies and chests. These items are usually enemy/area-specific. Early game examples include Broken Sylphid Horns/Exile Masks and Snake Scales. These can of course be sold, but their main purpose is for crafting new weapons and armor at a synthesis station.
Synthesis/Crafting Station:
Pick what you wanna make, slap the green button, place your materials, and boom!
To fuel the cooking station, slap this yellow metal thing into this weird circular slot thing. This powers the whole station, allowing you to cook!

Does anyone know if it’s possible to move the location of your guns. I’m disabled and I find them awkward to grab items so close to me
