A detailed guide on all Ghost locations. Including The items you need, required difficulty, and complete screenshot walkthrough.
Important Info
- The majority of these notes cannot be collected unless you’re playing on Normal difficulty or higher. Anything below and you won’t be able to interact with the final puzzles.
- There are specific times when it’s best to search for items, as the Janitors will be despawned. You won’t be able to collect everything during these times, but it’ll save you a lot of headache.
- The best time to search MB1 is after defeating the Tree Ghost, but before entering room 2-8.
- The best time to search MB2 is after giving the baby the Clay Doll, but before entering the Art Supplies Room.
- The best time to search NB is after defeating Choi Eun-mi (knife lady), and before entering the Auditorium.
Colored Keys
Throughout the various buildings are 4 colored keys we will need to open certain things. You will also need to combine them in different ways by going to the Workshop in MB1 and interacting with the machine on the table.
The Red Key can be found in the Main Office lockbox in MB1. You will open this as a part of the story.
The Yellow Key can be found in a drawer near the front of the Reading Room in NB.
The Blue Key can be found at the NB rooftop pool. It’s on the side with the double doors.
The Dark Key can be found in the locked box outside of MB1 room 2-5. You will need to combine the Blue and Red keys to open it.
1) Ghost of a House Parent (Normal+)
For this we will need 4 Typewriter Keys.
#1 can be found at the bottom of the southern stairs in MB1.
#2 can be found in MB1 Gym Storage Room.
#3 can be found in the MB2 Faculty Lounge.
#4 can be found underneath the staircase in NB you take to find the Yellow Keycard.
Once you have all 4 keys, head to Faculty Office 2 in MB2 to plug them in. After doing so, the typewriter will spit out a document. While reading this document, you will notice various words have randomly capitalized letters on each page. These capitalized letters spell out the code we need. One number per page.
(EX: Hello, Once you caN rEad this you’re set. = O-N-E).
Once you have the 4 numbers, go 2 doors down to the Student Department Office and open the box in the corner for a key. Now go back and open the drawer under the typewriter for the note.
2) The Impassable Bridge (Normal+)
We first need to collect 2 Eye-Testing Lenses. #1 can be found in the 2F Student Department Office in MB2.
The 2nd can be found in the Music Appreciation Room after defeating the boss. Look in the corner behind a speaker.
Once you have both lenses, return to the Nurse’s Office in MB2 and use the glasses. You’re looking for 4 circled symbols on the chart.
Once you’re sure you have all 4 symbols noted, go back to the Chairman’s Office in NB and enter the code into the safe.
3) Boy Kills Girl (Normal+)
After gaining access to the Principle’s Room in MB2, grab the Wooden Handle from one of the desk drawers.
Head back to where we started the game and open the wooden cabinet thing outside room 2-6. Turn your camera to the underside of the drawer to find a latch with the document.
4) A Woman Locked in the Closet
After unlocking the stairwell to the 2nd floor in MB1, head upstairs and enter the first room on your left. The story is on the table inside.
5) Ghost Tree
After the first cutscene with the janitor, Ji-Hyeon will pull you into a room. in this same room is a photocopy machine with the story inside.
6) The Wailing From the Art Room (Normal+)
Combine the Yellow and Dark Keys, then open the box just outside the Workshop.
7) The Secret of the Pond
As soon as you start the game, look behind the water cooler outside the 1F bathrooms in MB1.
8) Extreme Dieting Death (Normal+)
You will need 5 Paper Cranes. #1 is found in the clock at the start of the game.
The 2nd is found in the 1F Nurses Office in MB2.
#3 can be found in the 1F girls bathroom in MB2. Look inside the trash in the 2nd to last stall.
#4 is in NB room 3-4.
#5 can be found by combining the Blue and Dark Keys, then opening the box outside of Gym Storage in MB1.
Once you have everything, go to room 3-4 in NB and pay attention to the colored arrangement of the desks inside. With that in mind, head over to the History Room to find a frame you can slot the cranes into. Match the desk order from 3-4 for the note.
9) Lost Face (Normal+)
This one can be a little tricky if you’re not good with Morse code. First, combine the Red and Yellow keys, then open the box just outside of room 2-3 in MB1 to find a Morse Code Chart.
Next, head to the Music Supplies Room in MB2 to find a metronome. Plug the chart in and follow the ticks to find out what your 4 number code is. If the metronome goes fast it’s a dot. If it goes slow it’s a dash.
Finally, head to the Music Appreciation Room in NB and enter the code into the box inside.
10) Competitive Spirit
Underneath the first table near the window in the 4F Biology classroom in MB2.
11) An Incorrectly Solved Math Problem (Normal+)
You will need all 5 Class Schedules. #1 is in MB1 room 2-5.
#2 is in MB1 room 2-1.
#3 is in MB1 room 2-12
#4 is in room 3-4 in NB.
The final one can be found in room 3-11 in the NB.
With all 5 collected, head to room 2-7 in MB1 and slot them into the wall chart for the note.
13) A One-Sided Love (Normal+)
Outside the 3F Music Room in MB2 is a creaky floorboard. Continue to walk over it until it breaks, revealing the note.
14) The Mystery in the Dance Studio
in the NB central hall is a large staircase that connects all the floors. Climb all the way to the top and check the left-most corner.
15) The Kid in the Corner (Normal+)
You will need the Preserved Spider from the 4F Biology Supplies Room in MB2.
You will also need 5 weights. #1 can be found in a locker in MB1 room 2-4.
#2 is in the MB1 Student Records Office.
#3 can be located in the 3F Science Supplies Room in MB2.
#4 can be found in the first stall of the 3F boy’s bathroom in MB2.
The final weight can be found in the corner of the Dance Studio after defeating the boss.
Finally, head to the Earth Science Lab in NB and interact with the scale. Insert every weight except for the 10g to complete the puzzle.
16) Tragedy Brought by Jealousy (Normal+)
You will first need to collect 5 Red Pins. The first can be found in MB2 Faculty Office 1
#2 can be found in Faculty Office 2 in MB2. Look at the chalkboard at the front of the room.
#3 is found in the 3F girl’s bathroom in MB2. As soon as you enter, look in the sink in the corner.
#4 can be found on a book in the corner of the Reading Room in NB.
The final one can be found in the Resource Center in NB.
After collecting all 5 pins, you will need to insert them into a globe in the NB Resource Center. Slot the pins into Canada, Egypt, Argentina, Australia, and the Netherlands.
19) Mermaid
From the 2nd floor in NB, climb the stairs towards the 4th floor and look in the corner of the 3F landing. If you went up to the 4th floor, you went too far.
20) The Missing Children (Normal+)
Head to the Chairman’s Office in NB to find the order of the paintings inside. Note that your order may be different than mine.
After getting your order, go to Faculty Office 1 in MB2 to find the same photos. Rearrange them into the exact same order for the note.
