Family Business Update Patch Notes on April 10, 2024

• New HUD

• Fixed bug not spawning in Family Business
• Fixed bug where buying weapons animations for the server are not working
• Fixed bug where settings reset all player progress
• Grenade sounds changed
• Grenades have their sound affected by the settings

• Added weapon boost (Only in Voodoo Business for now)
• Ragdolls improvement
• Fixed issue with ammo being reset after reloading (If it persists, please report!)
• Headshots have a special sound (For now a mechanic from Voodoo Business)

• HUD animation after changing shooting type
• German Lollipop now explodes instantly when touching anything
• Code optimization
• Correction of incorrect translations
• Fix for players not respawning
• Fixed issue with kill feed showing the wrong weapon
• Fixed bug where step particles spawn in everyone

• Improved the kill feed that now shows different types of deaths
• Adding more weapons to bots
• Fixed infinite barriers glitch
• Fixed issue with bots not opening doors
• New loading system for maps
• Fixed songs ending and not playing anymore
• New songs in gamemodes
• Sun size decreased
• New weapon added (Cannoli)
• Fixed Voodoo Offering disappearing right after spawning
• Fixed the problem with names not appearing after two powers obtained in Voodoo Business
• Fixed server issues in Voodoo Business
• Improved game ending system in Voodoo Business, no longer requiring everyone to be dead, just knocked down
• Fixed issue with HUD not disappearing for the Client in Voodoo Business when the match ends
• Fixed the issue with the nuclear siren stop button only working for the Server
• Reduced spawn time
• Fixed issue with life not being restored in Family Business
• Improved low health heartbeat system
• New designs in the Main Menu
• New ammo tables for both teams
• Changes of various textures across maps, for example the barriers from Voodoo Business
• Readjusted doors

Cannoli the newest weapon of Family Business!

A classic revolver ! Good for killing a drug lord and a corrupt cop in a restaurant! This little revolver is so portable and easy to use that you can even hide it in the bathroom! С 5 bullets for 5 different problems and rapid fire, it’s only a matter of time before your problems disappear !

New ammunition stocks!

This is the new police ammunition stock, more organized, cleaner, more similar to what the law actually requires !

This is the mob’s new ammunition stash, messier, dirtier, more like what the law would prohibit !

After this update it should be easier to update Family Business, many things have been improved and that make my work easier, one of the best things was definitely changing the graphics engine version!

New release of Unreal Engine 4, what will this change ?

Simply everything opens a new window of opportunities for new codes and mechanics, not to mention new plugins to be used. This version is more stable and less “прослушиваемый”, meaning that problems that were common, such as server problems not appearing, are now resolved

What will be the next update ?

Хорошо, the next update will probably be correction, balancing and maybe it could include some new map for both game modes. Как результат, this update was a watershed for Family Business, as it is more stable and makes it easier and more comfortable to launch new content such as maps and different game modes

When will we have animations for weapons ?

I will be starting to develop the animations in the coming months, they will not necessarily be applied to the game, as quality is something we value a lot, so as many things are without animations we are in no rush to deliver something of good quality

When will we receive new content for Voodoo Business ?

Soon there will be lots of new things from drinks, cigars, easter eggs, missions and bosses! But to do this, you must first build a good foundation of gameplay stability to prevent new mechanics from conflicting
