This guide will show you how to unlock the Robin Hood achievement called “Ornithophobia”, where players are required to shoot down a total of 15 birds.
How To Basics
Just zip between those two marked spots on the map, taking out the birds at each one. They’re the ones you need for that achievement. Fast traveling back and forth makes them pop back up again. There might be more places to nab them, but sticking to these two won’t drain your hunger or thirst much, not that it’s a big deal.

Once you teleport here, spin around and check out the field opposite. That’s where the bird usually pops up for me. Activate your slow ability to nab it mid-flight. If it’s not there right away, listen for those bird calls to guide you. They’ll lead you straight to it.

After you fast travel here, make your way slightly north towards the pond area to the right of Sheriff’s Soldiers’ Camp. That’s where I’ve had the most success shooting down the bird, but keep an ear out for those bird calls. Ignore the crow sounds; they’re just there to signal the bird’s presence in the vicinity. I managed to take down most of the birds within the yellow-marked region on the screenshot below.
If you stumble upon any other spots where you’ve taken down those birds for the achievement, drop a comment down below! I’ve come across a couple more locations myself, but they slipped my mind. Loving this game so far!
