One Hit Mode Guide and Tips

I finished the game and got all the achievements on the new 0.4 patch of YAZS. It was super fun, and I want to say thanks to the game makers for making a really fun and challenging game that you can play over and over.

I want to help out fellow survivors who are trying to get 100% completion on Steam achievements. Please remember that this is my first time making a guide, so please be nice! This guide is all about the latest 0.4 patch’s One Hit mode for Isolation City and the Wasteland map. These are the character setups that worked for me in getting all the goals, but if you have other setups that work, that’s totally okay.

Agora, what is the One Hit Mode? According to the patch update, it’s a 5-minute challenge that tests your agility and quick reactions. Your health is reduced to just 1/1, and you can’t get any more health from bonuses. That means every enemy on the map can take you down in one hit if you’re not super careful.

Isolation City:

My Setup: Engineer x Ghost

I like this setup for Isolation City because it’s a smaller map compared to the Wasteland, and things can get pretty chaotic with zombies. Para lidar com isso, I’ve found that the best strategy is to create a super-strong shield that nothing can break through to get to our survivors.

For this build, I focus on maxing out the Energy Shield, Electrocution from Engineer, and Ghost’s Thousand Cuts. While it may take some time to fully upgrade Thousand Cuts, it’s essential to quickly max out Engineer’s Energy Shield and Electrocution abilities. This is because when your shields are down, Electrocution kicks in and does a great job of taking out the surrounding enemies during those vulnerable moments. I personally didn’t upgrade my Tesla to the laser stage because a Tesla hit for about +/-150 dano, which is more than enough to deal with any non-boss class enemies.

Key Skills to Get:

Engineer x Ghost:

• Energy Shield (MÁX.)
• Upgrade Taser to [TESLA] apenas
• Electrocution (MÁX.)
• Thousand Cuts (MÁX.)
• Hologhost (MÁX.)

When it comes to enhancing this build with boosters or buffs, your main focus should be on getting those that reduce ability cooldowns and increase weapon fire rates.

Na minha opinião, this build alone should be more than enough to carry you through the entire run. Any additional survivors you might have picked up after 4.30+ minutes are just extra bonuses, in my view.

Wasteland Strategy: Engineer x Huntress Build

I’ve found that this specific Engineer x Huntress build works exceptionally well for me in the Wasteland. It makes navigating the map smoother and helps avoid getting overwhelmed by enemies. The Wasteland is full of foes with ranged attacks, and the key to success is to lure them away from your team as far as possible to prevent being surrounded and surviving the 5-minute challenge.

In this setup, I give top priority to maxing out the Energy Shield, Engineer’s Laser, and the Huntress’s Zombie Decoy. The Huntress’s Zombie Decoy is a real game-changer in the Wasteland. It acts as an excellent distraction, effectively diverting and eliminating enemies.

For any remaining skill points, I invest them in improving the Huntress’s bow, turning it into Explosive Arrows.
