The Red Lantern Keyboard and Gamepad Controls

For anyone on PC looking for some guidance on how to play The Red Lantern. The tutorials can be super fast and only appear once at the start of your first run. I couldn’t find anything online besides for Nintendo Switch controls, so here is a comprehensive guide of all the mouse/keyboard controls as well as all buttons on an Xbox 360 controller and what they do in terms of game play. This is likely transferable to other controllers, but I can’t be sure of that as this is what I’m working with. Espero que isso ajude!

Teclado & Rato

Rato

Clique esquerdo: Press to select a choice or to interact with a dog or object while at camp or the cabin. For fishing, hold to raise your hook. Press to shoot during the hunting minigame. Can also be used to skip through/speed up dialogue.

Roda: Move through options or choices when presented. Scroll back (towards yourself) to increase the amount of food to feed your dogs or yourself at camp. Scroll forward (away from yourself) to decrease this amount.

Clique com o botão direito do mouse: Can be used to exit out of the journal.

Moving Mouse: Allows you to look around.

Teclado

C: Move up through options/choices.

A: Allows you to lean to the left while on the sled, but it doesn’t seem like this has any in-game effect. Press to decrease the amount of food to feed your dogs or yourself at camp.

S: Move down through options/choices.

D: Allows you to lean to the right while on the sled, but it doesn’t seem like this has any in-game effect. Press to increase the amount of food to feed your dogs or yourself at camp.

Espaço: Press to select a choice or to interact with a dog or object while at camp or the cabin. For fishing, hold to raise your hook. Press to shoot during the hunting minigame. Can also be used to skip through/speed up dialogue.

E: Hold breath while hunting (slows down the minigame to allow better aim.)

C: Set up camp while on a trail run. Can be pressed while camping to return to the trail.

M: Hold to display the map while on the trail.

Arrow Keys: Up/down keys can be used to navigate through options. Press the right key to increase the amount of food to feed your dogs or yourself at camp. Press the left key to decrease this amount.

Digitar: Press to select a choice or to interact with a dog or object while at camp or the cabin. For fishing, hold to raise your hook. Press to shoot during the hunting minigame. Can also be used to skip through/speed up dialogue.

Guia: Hold to display current supplies in the upper left corner of the screen.

Escapar: Pauses the game and brings up menu options.

Xbox 360 Controlador

Left Joystick: Move through options or choices when presented. Move to the right to increase the amount of food to feed your dogs or yourself at camp. Move to the left to decrease this amount.

Right Joystick: Allows you to look around.

S: Set up camp while on a trail run. Can be pressed while camping to return to the trail.

B: Can be used to exit out of the Xbox guide menu on Windows. No in-game effect.

RT: Press to shoot during the hunting minigame. Allows you to lean to the right while on the sled, but it doesn’t seem like this has any in-game effect.

Directional Pad: Can be used to navigate through options; same as the Left Joystick. Move to the right to increase the amount of food to feed your dogs or yourself at camp. Move to the left to decrease this amount.

Start Button: Pauses the game and brings up menu options.

Back Button: No in-game effect that I know of.

Xbox Guide Button: Hold to display Xbox menu on Windows. Does not pause the game/have any in-game effects.
