The Bow and Sparrow is the most difficult yet one of the most rewarding weapons to master. Not only does it have several different mechanics— unique from all other weapons, such as damage, faixa, movimento, fire speed, special effect, and rarity, but it also has a wide range of applicable uses in battle. Neste guia, I will provide exposure on the best way to utilize the bow in battle, and provide some contextual mechanics.

Damage and Range fluctuations

Primeiramente, we’ll summarize its damage. What makes the damage aspect of the bow and sparrow so unique is the wide range of damages it can inflict. By charging (or to be more technical, puxando) the bow to its maximum strength, it will exert maximum damage (55/verde, 57/azul). This damage will be registered differently if the opponent has armor, which in that case, will only remove 1 armor and deal around 20 damage to health. When not charged to its fullest amount, the sparrow will dish out less damage, and consequently also travel less range. The range and distance aspects vary with proportion to the damage dealt. The bow will deal the most optimal amount of damage when fully charged, but in cases where it is not, and contact is to be made with an opponent, only health damage will be dealt while no armor is broken.

Fire Speed Fluctuations

Another piece of the puzzle to all of the damage is the fire speed. More time is required for a fully charged bow shot, so it becomes more of a point damage weapon with long-range. In poorer scenarios, such as CQC (close-quarter combat), bow spam is most optimal for DPS but not range. Several shots can be fired off with each one nearing 20 damage while spamming the bow, but the only downside is the consumption of ammo and its lack of range. Note that because the bow is not fully charged, the damage will immediately affect the opponents’ saúde, not the armor.

Bow Special Effect

Adicionalmente, what makes the bow even more unique, is its special effect. Being found in uncommon (verde) and rare (azul) rarities, all of these sparrow using weapons inflict a special effect upon striking an opponent. Serving as a tracker, or marker, they will be marked with a characteristic bird over the heads flapping, following them wherever they go, até behind objects e out of sight for a short period of time. This is especially useful when playing with teammates, or when pursuing the opponent.

Finalmente, the best way to engage the bow and sparrow to its maximum potential is the way you use it. An easy way to obtain this achievement even without good bow and sparrow skills is to queue in duos matches, knock players with a bow, and bow spam the knocked teammate to log in as much as 10 hits on a single player. This will prove helpful when achieving this merit.
