The various methods for connecting a shipping container to a vehicle in Stormworks: Build and Rescue are as follows.

Electric Connectors

The most common and straightforward approach is using electrical connectors, which were the exclusive option before v1.0. At each corner of the container, there are eight electrical connectors. The lower connectors face downward and are slightly recessed, while the top ones face upward and align flush with the surface.

By sending specific composite signals to the top-side connectors, you can achieve different effects, such as toggling the connection state for the top-side or bottom connectors, or leaving them unconnected but presumably toggling both connector sets’ estados.

Cordas

Introduced in update v1.0, shipping containers were equipped with four rope hooks on the top face, positioned in line with the electrical connectors. While these hooks may not possess any unique functionalities, they can be utilized with a winch to raise or lower the container.

Hardpoints

With the overhaul in v1.6.13, shipping containers received additional connection options. One of these is the integration of four Hardpoint connector attachments. These consist of one topside connector, two on the bottom of each side of the container, and two on the ends. It is important to note that only the top and middle connectors provide power, while the bottom ones do not.

Sliding Connectors
