This guide will show you the star cards to use for Finn in hero and trooper modes, general play style, and tips to be a good Finn player.

Introdução

This guide will show you how to use Finn in battlefront II, including the best star cards in hero and trooper modes, the general play style of Finn, and some tips on how to play him.

HvV Star Card 1

The first card that I reccomend is ‘Raised To Do One Thing’ which increases the range of Deadeye from 30 meters up to 37.5 metros. This card is very useful as Finn is best used at more of a distance than other blaster heroes or villains. The increase doesn’t seem that significant but you will feel the difference with the card maxed out.

HvV Star Card 2

The second card recommended is ‘Stay Calm’ since the ‘Deadeye’ ability drains rather fast, 1 shot = 1 second off the clock, and the total time of the ability is 25 segundos. This card allows you to be able to string together multiple kills in ‘Deadeye’ especially if there are blaster villains against you, as this ability when every shot is hit deals at max 750 dano. At max upgrades, the card adds 10 total seconds, allowing 10 more shots, and up to 300 damage if every shot is hit at close range.

HvV Star Card 3

The final HvV card is ‘one resistance’ the reason I use this card almost all the time, is because of how significantly it can reduce the recharge time on ‘Deadeye’ as well as ‘Big Deal’. Finn has some of the longest recharge times on his abilities, 18 seconds on ‘Deadeye’ e 15 seconds on ‘Big Deal’. When the effects of this card are at max, the cooldown of ‘Big Deal’ decreases from 18 segundos para 10.8 seconds and decreases the recharge time of ‘Deadeye’ de 15 segundos para 12 segundos.

only use this card when you have 3 other teammates.See alternative card for when you have 2 teammates.

HvV Alternative Star Card

The only alt star card I use is ‘in charge’ it’s pretty straight forward in how it works, but remember that the damage reduction will only work when ‘undercover team’

está ativo.Também, only use this card when you have less than three teammates, or if your team does not play together, as ‘one resistance’ is superior when you have a full team that kind of stick together.

Trooper Mode Star Card 1

Outra vez, ‘Stay Calm’ é recomendado, in trooper modes it’s even better than HvV, as you will mostly encounter troopers who have usually at most 350 saúde. This card makes it so much easier to string together kills and kill streaks, especially in the second and third phases of GA.

Trooper Mode Star Card 2

Second card, ‘one resistance’ for the same reasons as previously stated.

Trooper Mode Star Card 3

Por último, ‘No More Running’ the effects of this card are straight forward, it increases the damage from 30 at close range to up to 42 e 32 damage at max range.

General Play Style & Pontas

Em geral, when you’re playing as Finn it’s best not to play as close to the enemies as you would with other blaster heroes, as Finn has a lower rate of fire, and damage output than all the other blaster heroes. Play close to where your teammates are, you’re not going to be successful playing on your own as you would with Han or Leia.

Finn is more of a support character, going off on your own in most situations isn’t that great of an idea. You can stray away from your team a bit if your ‘Deadeye’ or ‘Undercover Team’ está ativo. ‘Deadeye’ makes it easy to get kills alone, as it increases ROF and locks on. ‘Undercover Team’, hides you from the enemy radar and switches to Finn’s GLIE-44; With Finn’s GLIE-44 equipped you have a higher DPS than with his EL-16 (256 DPS at max compared to 216.6 at max, respectively.)

Staying close to your team is key because Finn has more two abilities that will buff your teammates. In HvV its best to stay close enough to where your teammates are in your ‘Big Deal’ radius but far away enough to where you’re not going to be directly in front of the villains.

Playing on the outside of where the main fights are happening is best, it allows you to get more damage dealt, and villains will be too close to your teammates to directly fight you.

Watch your teammates ability use, and when they need an ability refresh use your ‘Big Deal’ habilidade. You need to pay some level of attention to what your teammates are doing, in a different way than you usually would, instead of just looking at where your teammates are fighting, look out for when they use their abilities, and use ‘Big Deal’ to refresh teammates abilities.

‘Big Deal’ is also great for clearing choke points and hallways, as it prevents overheat to not only you but your teammates, so even if you don’t need the ability refresh, it’s still a very useful ability in the right circumstances.

In HvV, when a saber villain is close to you, you need to activate ‘Undercover Team’ it is the best usage of the ability. Remember that there is a slight delay in when you will be able to shoot after you activate the ability, sobre .5 segundos (this applies to all Finn abilities). Rolling around the enemy as you would with any blaster hero, aiming for the head, which is fairly easy to do at close range.

In HvV, when the enemy team has a Boba Fett, watch out for his concussion rockets, it will cancel your ‘Deadeye’ or ‘Undercover Team’ instantly. Wait until after Boba fires thenm, most Boba Fett players will use it almost immediately after being shot a few times. After the rocket is used, Boba will have 0 defense against your ‘Deadeye’, and you will kill him way more times than you won’t.

Immediately after using ‘Deadeye’ use your ‘Big Deal’ habilidade, it will decrease the cooldown time to 10 segundos, and when ‘Big Deal’ is used with the ‘One Resistance’ card you will be able to nearly always use the ‘Deadeye’ habilidade. This is only really applicable in HvV, there are better cards for trooper modes than ‘One Resistance’.
