Neodash Beginner’s Tips and Tricks

Introdução

Neodash is one of the best games I’ve played recently, but it can be quite challenging at times, in this guide I’d like to give some pointers that I think should be helpful for first time players to quickly get the hang of the game.

Take advantage of the Level Editor

One of the best features this game has, is the level editor, where you can freely make any levels you want with as many or as little obstacles you want.

Play and mess around with it by making levels where you can get fully familiar with the game’s controls, as well as to practice all sorts of manouvers, drifts, salta, etc.

You can even adjust how fast you want the death wall to destroy the level so you can take your time without any worries!

Drift a lot, make it a habit.

Even the game itself gives you this tip after dying:

“Hyperdrift & Boost to go faster!”In order to go faster and outrun the death wall you must gain speed, and to do it you got to drift and boost whenever you have the chance, this allows you to gain enough speed to keep up against the wall.

The best places to do drift and boosts are on straight paths as well as curves. Keep an eye on your boost gauge to make sure can do a small boost any time you make a drift.

Agora, drifting constatly can be hard, so I suggest you go practice on any levels where the roads are big enough for you to drift. I also recommed to make a custom stage to practice drifting so you can safely make mistakes without any stress from losing at a level in particular.

Enable ghosts

Caso você não saiba, this game has ghost replays made by other people, you get to see the top 5 player replays on each level as well as your own replays and even one from the level’s author.

These replays are useful because you can see how other players have beaten the level you are in, if you follow their routes it can help you a ton to complete a level. I recommed enabling the author’s replays but feel free to view the other replays and see which one is easier to follow.

The car can HOVER

Something that i kept forgetting about during my first 2 hours playing the game was the fact that the car can, na verdade, HOVER.

Though not always possible, using the hover at the right place, AND with enough boost, can allow you to pull off some crazy shortcuts, in some cases you could even cheese a level by hovering from certain ramps, and other places.

There’s not just one way to beat most of the levels so get creative! It’s more fun that way 🙂
