Keep going in the chapter like you usually would. Your Combine friends will catch up with you as you blast your way into the main Arbeit 1 facility. Move up the stairs, shooting at any rebels you come across in the hallways.

The door in front leads to a different part of the game, but we don’t want to go there yet. There’s a big hole in the floor, and an even bigger one in the ceiling. You can’t miss it, rebels will be shooting at you from above. Quickly take them all out before they destroy too many objects.

Our aim is to reach the upper floor. Since there are no ladders, escadaria, or elevators, we need to get creative. You can move around the larger wooden crates scattered in the area, just be careful not to break them.

There are also smaller crates around that you can pick up, including one on the lower floor. You’ll need to stack about three boxes (unless you can manage four), and use an extra object for added reach. Here’s my suggestion.
