Basic Bedrooms

Bedrooms are any room with a bed and a door sealing it off.

Which is fine for early game. Ideally you will have a room like this for each colonist.

(I pretty much only use double beds as 1. you will likely start with ‘Partnered’ colonists 2. to my knowledge there is no debuff to having random colonists sleep together.)

The higher these stats are the better mood boost you’ll get (+1.9 aqui).

Cama:

Bed rating depends on what quality the bed is ex. shoddy, poor, mediocre.

Decoração:

Decor is how many decorative items you have + likely quality of those items.

Tamanho:

Size is how large the room is, therefore always have your rooms atleast 20 blocks in size.

Walls and Floor:

This depends on the material of walls and floors. This means things like ‘walls’ will yield a higher score. In my experience wooden floors max out this stat.

Lighting:

How bright it is in the room. Increase this with torches.

Advanced Bedrooms

Which is the goal for mid to late game. Ideally you will have a room like this for each colonist.

(Ignore the mess, I wasn’t expecting visitors.)

The higher these stats are the better mood boost you’ll get (+3.5 aqui).

Basic Workshops

Workshops are any room with a workshop and a door sealing it off.

Which is fine for early game. Ideally you will have a room like this for each workshop. Also consider having a stockpile nearby for improved hauling speed.

(My colonists have high crafting levels so ‘workshop’ level will be lower)

The higher these stats are the better level boost you’ll get (+12 aqui).

Improvements are identical to bedrooms. Look back at the ‘Basic Bedrooms’ section for a breakdown of each meaning.

Advanced Workshops

Which is the goal for mid to late game. Ideally you will have a room like this for each workshop.

Também, notice my stockpile a door away from my workshop.

The higher these stats are the better leveling boost you’ll get (+14 aqui).

I have a single vase which is to the right of the torch clipping into loam.

I have wooden floors which max out that quality.

Lighting:

I have a single torch

If you are comparing the boost from my basic workshop to this one and noticing the small increase in boost. The basic workshop is a military workshop which likely just has a higher + value as a base. I’ll update and review this guide when I am back from vacation.
