Basic Information

What is friendship?

Friendship means how much a cat likes you. There are three types of values: friendship, dating, and marriage. They are used depending on your connection with the cat. When you’re dating a cat, the dating value matters, and for marriage, it’s the marriage value. Other cats use the regular friendship value.

Each type of value is a number from 0 para 1000. These numbers match with a particular level, as shown in the table below.

Each type of friendship has its own symbol. A star represents normal friendship, a heart signifies dating, and a ring indicates marriage. The number of symbols displayed corresponds to the tier for that specific type of value. Por exemplo, having a tier 2 relationship with a cat you’re dating will show 2 corações.

Please note that spirit cats don’t have a visible friendship bar until you start dating or marry them. Reaching new tiers allows cats to unlock new dialogue and enables you to participate in new events.

Who can you date or marry?

You can marry almost every cat, including spirits. The only exceptions are kittens and cats engaged in a rival marriage.

Kindly note that spirit cats have a x0.85 friendship difficulty modifier, making them 15% harder to befriend.

Friendship Value

Normal friendship is the standard type of friendship. It applies when you are simply friends with a cat, not dating or married to them. The table below illustrates benchmarks for this kind of friendship.

Dating Value

Once you reach four stars with a cat, you can start dating them. You can do this by giving them a Red Rose, which you can find at the Old Farm at any time or purchase from Ember after Day 15. The table below displays the benchmarks for this type of friendship.

Marriage Value

When you achieve four hearts with a cat, you can marry them. Para fazer isso, you can give them a Shiny Trinket, which can be crafted at an Anvil using 3 Diamonds and 9 Minério de ouro, or you can buy it from Ember after Day 25. Marrying a cat will result in them moving in with you. The table below displays the benchmarks for this type of friendship.

Kittens	900+	The next time you sleep, this cat will ask you if you want kittens. This will be approximately 2 days after reaching 4 anéis (Ver “Gaining Friendship”). Kittens will always be born exactly 8 days after confirming you want kittens. Selecting “Maybe Later” will result in a delay of 10 Days before you get re-asked.

Gaining Friendship

You can build friendship with a cat in several ways, like giving them a gift, finishing a task, having a conversation, e mais. These friendship gains can be influenced by three factors:

1. The number of “Social Hearts (roxo)” you possess.
2. Whether your colony has the “Prey Stockpile” perk activated.
3. The difficulty level you’re playing on (Kitten, Fácil, ou outro).

The table below shows the basic gain each action has on a cat’s friendship value, along with the effects of the three bonuses, if they apply.

Usando “Nine Lives” Habilidade	+5		+3		+9	Can provide each cat near you with a friendship bonus. This can affect each cat ONE time per use.

Losing Friendship

Losing friendship is more challenging than gaining it, and there are only a couple of ways to do so. Stockpile and difficulty don’t influence how much friendship is lost.
