This is a basic guide to unlock all the achievements. Most of the achievements in this game rely on a third-party server. Missions, challenges, and the race of the day are unavailable if a connection to the game’s server cannot be established. As the game has been removed from sale since early 2020, there’s no telling if/when the servers might stop functioning.
Race of the day
- Champion – Be in the top 10 in the race of the day
- Legend – Be in the top 3 in the race of the day
- God – Win the race of the day
The race of the day is a randomly generated race that resets every 24 hours. You need to place 1st on the leaderboard to unlock all 3 related achievements. They unlock as long as you are 1st when you finish the race, so it doesn’t matter if you lose 1st place later in the day.
The best way to unlock this is to jump in as soon as the event resets and just finish a lap while the leaderboard is empty. As of writing, the leaderboards are very empty, so there’s no trouble getting 1st place.
Challenge
- Good start – Win 1 challenge
- Not bad! – Win 10 challenges
- You want a medal? – Win 20 challenges
- Interesting – Win 50 challenges
- Impressive – Win 100 challenges
Search for challenges from the menu (don’t use difficulty = all, it throws an error) and start the race.
“Winning” a challenge in this case just means starting one. You can quit to menu as soon as the countdown for the race begins and it’ll count towards these achievements. The “Game(s)” counter in the main menu will increment if done correctly.
- Hobbyist – Create 1 challenge
- Artist – Create 10 challenges
- Industry – Create 50 challenges
- Boss – Create 100 challenges
The quickest way to create 100 challenges is to create “Race type >> Distance” challenges. As soon as the race starts, turn 90 degrees and crash into the wall to end the race immediately. Select “Share challenge”, let the upload finish and it’ll count as one created challenge.
Mission
- ThankYou – Unlock all missions
- LikeTheGame – Get 5 stars on all missions
Missions are time attacks/distance races against the developer. There are 20 missions in total and scoring 5 stars means beating the developer’s record. Both of these achievements unlock at the same time – after getting all 100 stars.
These can be quite tricky, and a playlist of all 20 missions can be found here. The videos use optimal racing lines; much better than what’s needed for 5 stars. Learn a couple of shortcuts in each track so you have more margin of error.
Training
- Bullitt – Finish time attack / easy race with no hit, no brake, boost always activated
- Fangio – Finish time attack / normal race with no hit, no brake, boost always activated
- WhoAreYou – Finish time attack / hard race with no hit, no brake
- Impossible – Finish time attack / extreme race with no hit, no brake
Self-explanatory. Hard and extreme difficulties aren’t available from the start and must be unlocked first by playing the missions. These achievements can also be done in the missions if you prefer playing those tracks.
I used the Tracer and following seeds: kt63kq (hard), si87dy (extreme).
