Picayune Dreams – All Weapons Tier List

This guide will show you the tier list of all weapons available in Picayune Dreams.

Rules

Each weapon underwent testing independently within the mortality range of 0-12.5. Testing was concluded prematurely if I deemed further testing unnecessary, typically around mortality 6, due to the rapid scaling of weapons in Overdrive 5.

• Overdrive 5.
• Exclusion of drills.
• Exclusion of black holes.
• Exclusion of statues.
• Selection of easiest enemies available (for relatively close comparisons between runs).
• Auto-aim enabled.
• Fast forward activated unless facing danger.

It’s important to note that this guide disregards passives, stat alterations, itp., potentially resulting in inconsistencies with their effectiveness in actual gameplay. Some weapons experienced significant underperformance without these factors, such as the Hydroscillator. Zatem, the results should be taken with caution.

Dodatkowo, passives and other ‘untestable’ weapons are not accounted for in this evaluation.

Testing Weapons Yourself

1. Activate debug mode by pressing Tab and F1 simultaneously (Notatka: Picayune Dreams Achievements will be disabled).
2. At the beginning of a run, press F1 to open the console.
3. Wchodzić “set obj_control bans 999” to enable infinite weapon bans.
4. Input “set obj_control max_items 1” to restrict yourself to using only one weapon.
5. Ban weapons until the desired one appears, then select it.
6. Disable invincibility by toggling debug mode off with Tab and F1.

It’s optional, but I recommend enabling auto-upgrade in the settings since there will be only one option available.

Alternatywnie, you can simply examine damage numbers at the conclusion of your run. But that’s for those less inclined to hands-on testing.

• A: Quick defeat

Average Rankings

Poziom S

• Demon Wings: Achieves near invincibility against melee enemies when maneuvered in a circular motion. Highly effective against bosses, particularly if they make contact with the trail. Potential for enhanced durability with larger weapon size, albeit challenging to utilize effectively.

Poziom

• Parasight: Remarkably potent.
• Static Satellite: Exhibits exceptional single-target damage but lacks efficacy against hordes. Noteworthy for its ability to swiftly dispatch worm-type enemies, despite their usual resilience in horde scenarios.
• Rogi: Offers outstanding crowd control capabilities and boss damage potential. Jednakże, its effectiveness in hordes may be hindered by occasional delays in animation before enemies are impacted. Becomes truly formidable once the radius expands sufficiently, akin to the Chainbelt but with greater impact.

• Chainbelt: Comparable performance to the Slime Spike but lacks a deadzone, making it more user-friendly. Slightly lower DPS than the Slime Spike with shorter range, presenting additional challenges in usage against bosses.
• Slime Spike: Exceptionally effective against hordes, although its extensive range can lead to vulnerabilities when enemies breach the defenses. Surprisingly adequate boss damage output.
• Missile Pack: Demonstrates subpar crowd control abilities but unexpectedly excels in single-target damage.

Poziom C

• Flame Thrower: Impressive damage output in lines but struggles in close quarters combat. Boss encounters are challenging due to frequent missed shots, although it possesses considerable damage potential.
• Legsaw: Surprisingly high boss damage capabilities.
• Yo-Yo Rack: Subpar performance in hordes as anticipated. Inconsistent boss damage, often ineffective initially but capable of significant damage when in close proximity to the boss.
• Shinobi Equipment: Similar to the flamethrower in horde situations but with slightly reduced damage output. Fairly reliable against bosses, although its damage potential is not exceptional.
• Eye2: Falls short of expectations but still performs adequately.
• Hunter’s Bow: Decently average performance.
• Rdzeń: Utilized the reversal upgrade but remained underwhelmingly mediocre in performance.

Poziom D

• Strike Call: Performs similarly to a slightly improved Soul Spear.
• Frost Globe: Subpar damage output but notable for its effective status effects. Functions primarily as a defensive tool, resulting in relatively impressive damage considering its defensive nature.
• Dagger Glove: Provides adequate crowd control but lacks effectiveness against bosses, exhibiting poor damage output.
• Soul Spear: Disappointingly ineffective for horde control and lacks potency against bosses. Subpar damage output combined with a lengthy cooldown.
• Plasma Lamp: Predictably defensive-oriented, offering minimal offensive capabilities.
• Hydroscillator: Surprisingly underwhelming performance, particularly regarding the damage output of its balls.

• Ultrabuster: Despite utilizing the reversal upgrade, remains notably deficient in single-target damage, frequently missing against bosses, and lacks crowd control effectiveness.
• Wicked Walkman: Exhibits exceptionally poor performance, warranting scrutiny regarding its effectiveness.
• Defense Turret: Displays abysmal DPS in all scenarios and necessitates meticulous positioning. Ogólnie, its performance is exceedingly poor.
