Welcome to my Lost Signals accomplishment walkthrough. Mine isn’t the first, but I had already started working on it and felt I might as well finish it. I hope you find it useful in the end.
Lost Signals includes three alternative endings, so you’ll need at least three playthroughs to complete the game.
Unmissable + Endings
A House in the Woods
Find out the secret at Jacob’s house.
Don’t Get It Wet
Place the transmitter at Tootega Falls.
With a View in the Distance
Place the transmitter at Charity Point.
Up on the Roof
Place the Transmitter at Garland
Finally, you must select one option from three. Depending on the option you select, you will receive a different ending and achievement.
With Planetshine in Her Eyes
Select Oliviato go through the portal.
A Good Day Waiting on the Other Side
“…accept what you find.”
Select Riley to go through the portal.
Take Care of Athena
“… the apex of my accomplishment.”
Choose Jacob to pass through the portal. You must avoid getting friends with him in order for this to be possible. Lie to him, be nasty and dismissive, ignore his attempts to be polite, and keep your secrets, such as Riley’s pregnancy, hidden from him. I’m not sure, but apparently ignoring the hidden letter can also assist.
Missable + Sidequests
3 AM Food Freinds
Agree to be a special kind of friends.
To make this one work, make sure you’re nice with Jacob throughout the game. Be truthful and encouraging whenever possible. He will ask you whether he can ask you a “dumb question” later in the game. After all of this is completed, he’ll ask whether you want to be his friend. Make sure you choose “Yes, but that’s not a dumb question.” He’ll be pleased and will inquire about naming your new acquaintance. “3 AM Food Friends” is the obvious choice.
A Brighter Shade of Violet
Become friendly with Violet.
Two discussions will be required to become friends with Violet. Select one of the conversation options listed. Don’t worry, the achievement won’t appear until the very end of the game.
12 a.m. – Assist Violet in securely crossing the bridge and returning home.

2 AM – Stick up for Violet during the confrontation with Olivia at the Community Center
- Leave her alone, Olivia
Become friendly with Charlie.
Charlie deserves your best efforts. Stop shouting at him, Jacob. Choose “Whoa! Hold On!” and “You’ll Be Okay, Charlie!” during the encounter at the Community Center.
Become friendly with Olivia.
Be as courteous and understanding to Olivia as you are to the others. You won’t be able to befriend both Charlie and Violet without alienating Olivia, so either let Jacob abuse Charlie or join in on the fun. Keep Olivia’s radio at the Community Center rather than wrecking it. Instead of questioning Charlie, ask Olivia about her parents. Finally, select Riley to enter the portal. Keep in mind that the achievement will not appear until the very end of the game.
Merry Scary Christmas
Create the scariest One Word Story.
Jacob will invite you to tell him a one-word story shortly after entering the tear in the caves in Waterhead Bluffs. Choose “Sure”, followed by “Santa”, “Fourteen”, and “Loudly”.
On Top of Things
Stop Olivia from tuning the portal in any way
Make a mental note to grab the radio before she finishes any triangles. Olivia’s progress will be slowed by her friendship with Charlie and Violet.
Problem Solved and Shattered
Prevent Olivia from tuning the portal and smash her radio
Choose to shatter her radio at the end of the community center conversation. This may prevent you from getting “Hurt Healed,” so once you acquire the accomplishment, you can return to the main menu and avoid having the decision locked in. You will then have to go back in time to when you shattered the equipment.
He Sounded Familiar…
Talk to a young radio enthusiast.
After Jacob falls down the church tower, and before you go down, turn on channel 9 and have a brief talk with someone you know.
Check in with Evelyn for all three transmitters.
Evelyn will contact you early on and will eventually ask you to check in with her once each transmitter is put. Simply follow her instructions after each one and you’ll be fine.
Just Stay Put
Redial the last number on the phone when you arrive at the Ranger Station at Point Tilia at 12 a.m. Maintain regular contact; Shelley will ultimately remark a weird voice. Later, about 2 a.m., Jacob will lead you to the Parking Lot. When you hear a phone ring nearby, answer it and instantly contact Shelley and instruct her to stay put.
The Light of Possibility
Finish Nick’s journey.
You will receive a phone call shortly after approaching Waterhead Bluffs requesting you to locate a backpack. Because the place is close, don’t stray too much during this chat. Cross the log and descend the rock wall; the backpack will be inside the beach cottage. After that, keep in touch with him as much as possible. Choose either “Sail past it” or “Here’s how to open it” during your final talk with him. Both will award you with the achievement.
Unrequited Radio Romance
Hear Maria tell Charlie she has a crush on him.
After conversing to Maria on a frequent basis, she will reveal that she has a crush on Charlie. Encourage her to inform him, and she will later ask you to tune in to 88.1 and listen to the chat; once you do, the accomplishment will be unlocked.
I’ve Had Weirder Jobs
Deliver the shoe to Hank.
Enter the post office at the bottom right of Garland Ghost Town. Hank will contact you shortly after that. Open the time rip and set the upper EMF booster to 3 and the bottom EMF booster to 9. You will see a person once you enter the tear. Have Jacob photograph them and then contact Hank. A shoe is the “physical evidence” he seeks. It can be found in the cave you explored earlier as part of the Hot and Cold Game. After that, you can return to the cave and retrieve the shoe. If you’ve done so, call Hank right away and proceed. If not, go back to the cave, take the shoe, and summon him. The final step is to return the shoe to the Garland Post Office. Place it in the lockbox, say goodbye to Hank, and you’re done.
Master of Your Domain
Don’t Pet Athena.
Start with this one if you want to get “Pet Athena” and “Don’t Pet Athena” in one playthrough. When you reach the Harbor, just before the point of no return, you’ll hear whimpering nearby; go to it and a “cutscene” will play. Simply ignore the desire to pet Athena and proceed to the boat.
Who Could Resist
When the “Master of Your Domain” accomplishment appears, quit the game or return to the main menu. When you return, you should be placed immediately after the widescreen cutscene ends. This time, approach Athena and pet her. You should be fine now.
