Intro
So while playing Transport Fever 2, Je hebt misschien gemerkt hoe boten af en toe geen vracht laden, often leaving entire compartments empty and losing you a lot of money. This is a bug within the game’s code, and thus we have to wait for the devs to fix it. In de tussentijd, I’ve figured out a workaround below.
Oorzaak
So the bug is (ik denk, not quite sure) caused by the boat checking its capacity, before loading, at an improper time. It checks its capacity for cargo before unloading (instead of after, when the compartments can be reassigned) and thus gets a bad figure for its capacity of the cargo at the dock.
The Workaround
To get around this irritating issue, you need only set a route to “load until full (alle)”, which explicitly tells the boat it will be fully loading all compartments. For some reason this gets it to do its loading properly.
