Scheduled Programming

“Find a television”

Start the game in singleplayer or multiplayer and walk around for a while. While exploring the backrooms you will definetly randomly find a television just standing around somewhere on the ground.

Eerste stappen

“Reach Level 1”

You will have to find a ladder, that leads you to the next level.

To find a ladder you’ve got to explore the backrooms a bit. If you want to be sure that you didn’t miss it, check every corner and room you come by.

Hello..?

“Find a telephone”

This achievements is basically the same as the achievement “Scheduled Programming”.

Just run around a bit and soon you will find a telephone standing on the ground.

Lucky Escape

“Survive being chased by an entity”

While in the backrooms you will often encounter some entities that will chase and attack you.

Just normally play the game and soon you will get this achievement.

Who let the dogs out?

“Encounter a hound”

A hound is an entity that will randomly appear in some levels.

I often found it in the first level you start. Although I believe it doesn’t matter in which level you are to have a chance of getting them in your playthrough.

Backtracking

“Return to a previous level”

For this achievement you must find a trapdoor which will lead you to a previous level.

You can also find it in the level you start in.

Therapy

“Use a sanity pill”

While exploring the backrooms you will often find items laying around on the floor.

Sanity pills are in orange “cans” and they are not really rare.

Corrupted

“Enter the “negative” niveaus”

Use the trapdoor to go a level down when in the first level.

It is said that the negative levels are super duper dangerous but I think it’s trying to make you scared. Are you scared?

Say CHEESE!

“Encounter a smiler”

A smiler is a little jumpscare, I believe you will encounter it faster if your sanity is low.

Ontdekkingsreiziger

“Reach Level 3”

For this achievement you need to find a ladder 3 times in one playthrough and get to the third level.

Swimming Lessons

“Vind de “Poolrooms” niveau”

It is absolutely random when and what level you get.

Just play for a while and try to get the other achievements and eventually you will find this level.

Ancient Mythology

“Vind de “Greek labyrinth” niveau”

It is absolutely random when and what level you get.

Just play for a while and try to get the other achievements and eventually you will find this level.

Party Starter

“Vinden “Level FUN””

It is absolutely random when and what level you get.

Just play a for a while and try to get the other achievements and eventually you will find this level.

Healing Remedy

“Obtain almond water”

Almond water is an item that you also will find randomly while playing the game.

Zoals altijd: Just play and you may find it!

(If you find a trader, you could also buy it maybe.)

Play Time

“Find a stuffed toy”

Pick it up for the achievement if you find it.

Afterwards don’t pick it up, unless you like little kids chasing your butt and screaming your ears out.

They shouldn’t come instantly so no need for panic.

Capital Punishment

“Vind de “Torture Rooms””

It is absolutely random when and what level you get.

Just play for a while and try to get the other achievements and eventually you will find this level.

Dungeoneer

“Reach Level 5”

Same as with “Ontdekkingsreiziger” you need to find ladders to get to a higher level.

This time you will need 5 ladders to get this achievement, if you start from the beginning!

You’re On Fire!

“Surviving being set ablaze”

There is an entity that will set you on fire. If you survive it, you will get this achievement.

Always be sure to have some medkits on you.

Bleeding Out

“Stop yourself from bleeding”

Use a bandage or medkit when you are bleeding.

Can’t remember how you start to bleed though…

I guess an entity has to make you bleed!

Self Service

“Use a vending machine”

You will randomly find it somewhen in any level.

Just buy something from it and you will get this achievement.

Demon Slayer

“Kill any entity with a weapon”

For this you will need a weapon.

– You can find weapons (like a wooden board for example) randomly

– You can craft weapons if you find blueprints and gather enough materials to build it

Hit the entity a few times, maybe take the role to make more entity damage in the character creation and then let the “demon” come to you and slay it!

Desperate Measures

“Eat a corpse”

Goed, eat a corpse you disgusting monster.

I only found them while playing multiplayer.

If you also dont find any while playing singleplayer and you have no friends, just open a multiplayer lobby, private or not, and then play there.

The Trespasser

“Unlock a locked door”

A locked door is a wooden door with some chains around it.

You need a small key to open it.

Opening a door can be very useless sometimess… you will find out why eventually.

Feeling Lucky?

“Drink a “Dubious Liquid””

You can find it and trade it as same as every other item.

Maybe is a bit more rare.

Watch out for its effect. Could poison you. 😉

Safe-Cracker

“Unlock a safe”

Safes will appear on walls.

You can open them using a small key.

They don’t appear in some levels but I believe in you!

(gotta search that key first )

The Big City

“Vind de “Stad”

It is absolutely random when and what level you get.

Just play for a while and try to get the other achievements and eventually you will find this level.

Boiling Point

“Discover the “Lava” niveaus”

It is absolutely random when and what level you get.

Just play for a while and try to get the other achievements and eventually you will find this level.

Watch out for the lava! It hurts.

Saving Up

“Verzamelen 10 Backcoins”

You can find Backcoins laying around on the floor in any level.

They are shining a bit, making them easier to see.

You can also get Backcoins from trading.

Sub Zero

“Discover the “snowy” niveaus”

It is absolutely random when and what level you get.

Just play for a while and try to get the other achievements and eventually you will find this level.

In this level you can also do the achievement ” ´Tis The Season” I believe.

Old Kingdom

“Discover the “Kasteel” niveaus”

It is absolutely random when and what level you get.

Just play for a while and try to get the other achievements and eventually you will find this level.

Through The Roof

“Unlock and climb through an air vent”

You will need a screwdriver and then you have to search an air vent on the cieling.

The vent makes some loud noises so you can find it easier.

Snack Break

“Consume HNT Backrooms-Carpet flavoured crisps”

Zoals altijd, you can find it randomly or trade it. Found it? Eat it!

Networking

“Buy an item from a friendly entity”

As the description says…

And guess what? It spawns randomly!

Although you can pick the “class” ” ??? ” to find it faster.

Find it, drink it. (or buy it from trader or vending machine!)

Dungeon Master

“Reach Level 10”

Find and climb 10 ladders in one playthrough!

I believe in you, you can do it.

Raising Capital

“Sell an item”

When found a trader, sell him some of your goodies.

Maybe also works on a vending machine, can’t remember.

Imposter

“See a skin stealer transform”

This sussy baka is pretty ugly and loud.

The entity will randomly appear and disguise itself as a human being.

You need to watch it while changing it’s disguise. Dont get too close!

Miracle Drink

Stay hydrated!

Its pretty rare. You might find it faster if you play as ” ”

Hidden Treasure

“Unlock a “big chest””

You need to find a big key for the big chest and then open it!

Dont forget to loot it

Maybe you can also craft it and get the achievement, not sure about that tho.

Adrenaline Boost

Bulletproof

“Equip body armor”

You can find kevlar vests.

Kies ” Streamer ” when creating charachter to find the armor faster.

Found it? Dont forget to equip it!

Quick Fix

“Repair a weapon”

You have to destroy your weapon completely and then repair it afterwards.

Repair kits are easily found in the most cases. You gotta move your butt now tho!

Entomophobia

“Encounter a death moth!”

I encountered them pretty often, so it shouldn’t be a problem for you either.

You should find them in the most levels.

You can easily recognize them from their rattling that sounds similar to a snake.

Smederij

“Upgrade a weapon”

As far as I can remember, you can find upgrade kits to make your weapon stronger and more durable. Good Luck finding/creating a weapon and then finding/creating this kit! On your way to this achievement you may die a few times.

Health Hazard

“Cure yourself from poison”

Some entities or levels can poison you.

Find and drink Antivenom while being poisoned to get this achievement!

(Almond Water / Super Almond Water should help too, since they are healing everything)

Cant Feel A Thing

“Consume a painkiller”

Pretty simple.

Find and consume a painkiller!

You might need to be a bit damaged to use it, not sure tho. Just try to use it once you have it!

Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.

“Craft an item”

Find a blueprint and gather all materials you need to build it!

Try to build a weapon that is not that expensive.

‘Tis The Season

“Doden “Santa”…”

Santa can only be found in the snowy levels.

He is not stronger than any other entity.

Kill him and you get the achievement!

Medieval Warfare

“Obtain a crossbow”

Find or build a crossbow.

Thirsty

“Drankje 25 Liquids”

I am not sure, if you have to drink 25 Liquids in one playthrough but I will try to find it out!

Honger

“Consumeren 25 Voedsel”
