Here are my favorite slime combinations for Slijm Rancher 2. I’m not really into veggies or meat, especially veggies. I’m not sure why, but I’ve never been a fan since the first Slime Rancher game.
Slime Combinations
For my first combination, I like pairing Pink Slime with everything and adding None to their diet, alongside Ringtail Slime with everything and None for their diet. It’s like having a trash can for unwanted food while keeping the favorites of other slimes intact.
Another combo I enjoy is Cotton Slime with Veggie and Water Lettuce, along with Phosphor Slime with Fruit and Cuberry. These were my go-to slimes in the early stages of the game since they’re easy to obtain.
Tabby Slime with Meat and Stony Hen pairs well with Angler Slime, which also prefers Meat, specifically Sea Hen. I was somewhat forced to deal with meat-eating slimes without disrupting others.
Rock Slime with Veggie and Heart Beet goes nicely with Flutter Slime, which favors Nectar, particularly Moonew Nectar. I kind of forgot about rock slimes until I acquired flutter slimes and had to figure this out.
Batty Slime with Fruit and Pomegranite combines humor with practicality, especially when paired with Boom Slime, which enjoys Meat, specifically Briar Hen and Pomegranite. It’s like a playful nod to a joke between me and a friend, calling them BooboBat (Bumboclat).
Honey Slime with Fruit and Mint Mango complements Crystal Slime, which prefers Veggie, particularly Odd Onion and Mint Mango. This combination stems from my preference in Slime Rancher 1.
Hunter Slime with Meat and Roostro fits well alongside Tangle Slime, also preferring Meat, particularly Painted Hen. This choice was more about aesthetics, plus I forgot about Tangle/Dervish slimes until I revisited the slimepedia.
Ten slotte, Saber Slime with Meat and Thundercluck pairs nicely with Dervish Slime, which prefers Fruit, especially Prickly Pear. This combination came about from forgetting about Saber Slimes and then combining the last two available options.
