This is a fix for cutscenes not playing in the selected resolution that worked for me when I play at 3440 X 1440 Ultrawide.
Display.ini file
You’re going to tweak the display.ini file located within the game’s installation folder which you can find by right-clicking the game in your Steam library and Browse Local Files.
I recommend at least launching and customizing the in-game Display settings first to your liking
Edit the display.ini file using notepad, scroll down to find and change:
- LetterboxEyefinity = false
That should do it for the cutscenes as it did for me.
But while you’re in the ini file, add and adjust these lines too:
- SkipIntroVideo = true
- MotionBlur = false
- TextureDetailLevel = 1
- DDof = 2
- ShadowDetail = 2048
Skip intro skips the opening clips when launching the game, The other stuff makes the game look much much better if your PC can handle it.
