To learn different skills in each Tech form, certain stat requirements must be met. Bijvoorbeeld, higher-level skills won’t be available at the beginning of the game until your party’s stats have been leveled up. Skill Learning Guide
Sword Arts: Ensure you have at least one empty skill slot in your ARTS menu to learn new Sword Arts during battle. If there are no empty slots, you won’t learn additional skills. Monitor your skills menu to build up your Sword Arts list.
Gun Arts: Like Sword Arts, you need an empty skill slot to learn new Gun Art skills. Echter, Gun Arts are learned only at the end of battle, unlike Swords and Martial Arts. You won’t receive a notification about learning a new Gun Art until the end of the battle. Avoid using Cannon or Laser type Guns to learn new skills.
Vechtsporten: Similar to Sword Arts and Gun Arts, an empty skill slot is required to learn new Martial Arts skills. Martial Arts follow the same learning mechanism as Swords but are performed with bare hands. You will receive a notification when learning a new Martial Art skill. There are three types of Martial Arts skills: Trap, Punch, and Throwing.
Magie: Magic is divided into six schools: Rune, Arcane, Licht, Schaduw, Ruimte, and Time. Everyone can use Magic, and spells from these schools are learned at the end of battle without needing an empty skill slot. Space Magic and Time Magic are unlocked when you master one of the schools of Light or Shadow, and Rune or Arcane. Some characters, such as those from the Magic Kingdom or Mystics, have access to unique magic types. Completing specific side-quests is necessary to unlock Space and Time Magic.
Speciaal: Special Art Skills are exclusive to Mechs and are learned at the end of battles against mechanical-type monsters. Wanneer gevraagd, you can choose to absorb the data to learn the Mech’s Special skill. If the learning process fails, your Mech and party members’ stats will be healed instead. Note that if there are multiple Mechs in your party, only one will learn a skill at a time.
Slimmigheidje: Learning Dodge skills can be challenging as you need to encounter specific monsters that possess those skills. One effective method is to find the monster with the desired Dodge skill, eliminate other monsters present, and repeatedly use the DEFEND command while the monster uses the skill. This process may take a significant amount of time to learn all Dodge skills for each character.
