A guide on earning all achievements in Praey for the Gods.

These achievements relate to collecting lore notes, luckily you don’t have to collect all of them to earn these achievements. You should find 20 lore notes by the time you’ve explored all the caves in the game with the exception of a few lore notes you would find through surface exploration.

Bibliophile

Decipherer
Vinden 20 Lore Notes

Er is alleen 1 map related achievement and you’ll have to find all 5 maps to unlock it. Maps are usually located on the walls of certain caves when you first enter them. I’m working on a map to show all map locations.

Cartographer
Vinden 5 maps

These achievements relate to collecting golden totems, unlike the lore notes you’ll have to, Helaas, collect all 60 of the totems the game has to offer. Out of all the achievements in the game these are the most time consuming. I’m currently working on a map to upload here for your use, for the time being I will link this video:

Tips for these achievements
Although they are slippery targets, rabbits will be your best bet on fast tracking these achievements.

Deforestation? It’s not like anyone is alive here anyway
If you don’t have an axe there should be one stuck to a tree stump when you exit the temple and parachute down the sets of pillars.

Tips for this achievement
Probably the most efficient way to earn this achievement by far is lighting your arrows on fire. Whether you have to fire them for the achievement progress to count I’m unsure about but regardless arrows are very easy to craft as getting logs is easy.

Crafting/Cooking

IMPORTANT NOTE for these achievements!
For some reason campfire crafting doesn’t count towards the achievement counter, crafting everything else does work however. I recommend crafting arrows as it only takes 1 log and nothing else.

Kok 10 pieces of food

Chef
Kok 20 pieces of food

Rabbit Season!
Rabbits will be your best bet in getting this achievement as quick as possible as you can carry 3 small meat in 1 inventory slot, not to mention when you encounter a rabbit usually you’ll encounter them in groups of 3 of meer.

Tips for this achievement
Not much can be said but I recommend you to check back in at the temple every now and then as there are frozen ashy figures outside the temple you can fight once you get close to them, this will make your progress go much quicker than searching for undead actively. I’m not sure what you have to do to respawn the undead outside the temple but they do respawn for a fact.

Climb up to the top of the temple

Tips for this achievement
If you stand where you spawn after you defeat a giant you’ll see some exposed pillars which go all the way up to almost the top of the temple. Grapple as far up as you can and climb to the top of the pillar. Then you’ll see the temple ornament itself, you want to climb it in such a way so that your character can take a breather halfway through the climb. You DO NOT need maximum energy for this although upgrading your energy a little bit is recommended.

How do you access echo mode?
Once you defeat a boss there are two ways to access echo mode. You can either return to the location you fought the boss or you can access one of the few monuments you can interact with to replay any boss fight you’ve completed.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR THESE ACHIEVEMENTS

• Jij Niet need to start new playthrough to get these achievements (remember you can switch your difficulty at any time in the pause menu)
• Jij CAN earn this achievement by using Echo Mode (by interacting with the monument)
• Jij CAN earn both difficulty achievements if you just select Legendary difficulty
• Jij Niet play the same boss 5 keer, the achievement won’t progress
• Jij HAVE TO defeat the first 5 giants IN ORDER which you encounter them for the achievement to progress

This achievement is a little bit bugged/delayed so after you defeat each boss refresh your library to check if the achievement progress went up, you do not need to close your game, just refresh the library page for Praey for the Gods
