Let’s start with the basics of stealth. Stealth means fighting enemies one at a time, not sneaking around like a bug. Crouching, using foliage, and going prone help with stealth. Enemies will “warn” you if they spot you. Bots will scan, and bugs will dance and display their wings.
If enemies spot you, you can still retreat and they will return. You can even throw a stratagem and run away, and the enemies will investigate where it landed. If you disappear from sight for about 30 seconden, vijanden, especially terminids, will be completely lost. Smoke stratagems and smart terrain usage can help you disappear. Bots will shoot and grenade your last position as they approach and search.

Combat in this game is swift and decisive. If enemies stay alive for too long, they will call for reinforcements. This can quickly get out of control and overwhelm your team. You want to clear the infantry as fast as possible to prevent reinforcements and deal with the bigger enemies individually.

Continue Reinforcing
If you failed to deal with the infantry fast enough or your allies have run away to warn a patrol, geen paniek. For bugs, throw a long-term stratagem like gas, barrages, or airburst at the incoming tunnel. Focus on the infantry and try to regroup with your team. Avoid running into more bugs, as this will make reinforcements more likely. For robots, use anti-vehicle weaponry like EAT-17s and aim at the dropships. Make sure to communicate with your teammates so they know you’re taking care of the dropships while they clear out the robots.
If you can’t deal with the infantry and they call for reinforcements multiple times, it’s time for a tactical withdrawal. Use smoke to obscure vision, find cover, and run away when you have the opportunity. Try to lead enemies away from objectives. If you don’t have smoke or a dedicated teammate for this, you can try to lure most of the enemies away from objectives.
