Secret Achievements

Unlock a secret version of a stage

Unlock an alternate version of a stage by either

– Beat the level with the golden boots

– Beat the level after finding and activating a spore mushroom

– Beat the level after finding and activating a moon checkpoint

Here’s a nifty guide I made

Complete all rain levels

Unlock and beat all 3 rain levels

To unlock a rain level you have to beat a level with the golden boots equipped
De 3 rain levels can be unlocked by
– Beat Vined Valley with golden boots -> unlock Buggy Woods Rain level
– Beat Gusty Forest with golden boots -> unlock Witch Tower Rain level
– Beat Witch Tower with golden boots -> unlock Steampunk Skyline Rain level

Defeat Lime King

Defeat the Lime King which can be found in a secret level off of the main path in the map

Opmerking: Access to the level activates after beating the game

Defeat Soul Snake

Find a defeat the Soul Snake

To activate the Soul Snake you have to complete all 3 moon levels
De 3 moon levels can be unlocked by
– Beat Steampunk Skyline after activating its moon checkpoint -> unlock Cloud Sky Moon Level
– Beat Cloud Sky after activating its moon checkpoint -> unlock Scattered Skylands Moon Level
– Beat Scattered Skylands after activating its moon checkpoint -> unlock Vined Valley Moon Level

Find Key

Backtrack earlier in the room to the key hole

break the block to access by spitting a bug at it or rolling at high speed

After completing all 3 moon levels the Soul Snake will appear and will reside on a random level. enter that level to initiate the fight.

To damage the Soul Snake, Find a checkpoint coin and activate a checkpoint to do damage. activate 5 checkpoints to defeat it

You can damage its body with swallowable objects to make the Soul Snake easier to avoid

Spore Level Location

Opmerking: There is no achievement tied to the spore variant level specifically. so here’s how to get to it regardless

Collect all of the gems from every stage

Challenge Achievements

Complete a stage without taking damage

Reach the end of a stage without taking any damage

Complete a stage without triggering a single checkpoint

Complete a stage without activating any checkpoints

Complete the game without dying once

Beat the game without dying once

Tip: if you do die, you can quickly pause and exit the level which will not count as dying

Complete a room without leaving the ground over once

Complete a room in any level by only touching the ground twice (when you enter, and when you exit)

Defeat enraged Umbrella Knight

Defeat the hidden enraged version of Umbrella Knight

To activate enraged Umbrella Knight you cheese the fight by pushing Umbrella Knight into a corner and constantly damaging them without them escaping

Skip enraged Umbrella Knight

I don’t know how to do this one because I don’t have it yet.

Win the second fight with Grappler Knight without the Grappling extender

Defeat Grappler Knight in their second fight without using the Grappling extender

To start the fight without picking up the Grappling extender just wait for around 15 seconden

I recommend using the hover boots as it allows more leeway to hit Grappler Knight

Bring Umbrella Knight to the end of a stage

Umbrella Knight can be found in the rain variants of Buggy Woods of Steampunk Skyline

Diverse prestaties

Sleep on the mushroom bed

Find and sleep on the mushroom bed which can be found in the “Goed” niveau

Save yourself from falling into a pit

Save yourself from falling into a pit by grappling the wall of a pit and successfully pulling yourself onto the ground again

Purchase shoes from a shoes shop

buy any of the 4 available shoes in either of the 2 shoe shops

The super secret technique

I actually kind of forgot how to do this one and the description doesn’t help either. I think you have to repeatedly crouch or something

Verzamelen 10,000 munten. Either grind or save file edit for it

Progress without disturbing Lily

Right after you enter the fight, don’t jump or extend your tongue for a few minutes. Jotao will start to levitate and leave without needing to defeat Lily

Eten 50 bugs

Swallow 50 bugs by pressing down while having one in your mouth

I recommend playing the second level Buggy woods because that has a lot of bugs
