A guide on how to do a rune farm glitch to get about 40k runes in Deeproot Depths. First time doing the glitch can get you almost 90K runes. Primiarily for early to mid game players.
Invoering
This method of rune farming uses a glitch that causes you to clip out of the map and deload the map causing all the enemies to perish to fall damage. You get a sudden influx of runes and items.
We are going to use this glitch in the Deeproot Depths. There is two ways to do this method. The first method we are going to cover is quicker and more difficult. The second method is a longer method in case the first method is too difficult to get down.
This rune farm at Deeproot Depths will yield about 40.000 runes without the golden scarab talisman. You can repeat this as many times as you need. The fist time you do this glitch you will receive numen runes. The numen runes will not drop again; they are a one time drop.
Quick Method
This fast method has a simple set up. Spawn at the Deeproot Depths site of grace.
From here go forward until you see this ledge directly right of the finger reading crone.
Mount up and do a sprint jump off this ledge.
It’s really important to do a sprint jump. This is the hardest part of this method. Once you can consistently do that sprint jump, this method becomes the better of the two.
So you’re going to sprint jump off this ledge then delay for about a second then double jump. You know you did it right if you’re camera looks like this:
As you fall you must spam the attack button until you see something like this or the items and runes pop up for you.
Now that you have the runes and or items, quickly warp back to the site of grace and repeat as often as you like!
Longer Method
This method is longer because it requires you to do some parkour to reach the right height and distance to leap over the kill plane to do the glitch. This method might be more easy for you if you struggle with the sprint jump.
The set up is similar. Spawn at the Deeproot Depths site of grace.
Go north east until you see this thin root.
Double jump onto it and run up as much as you can then quickly leap off onto the root to the left.
Run up this root until you reach the trunk of the tree.
Jump onto the branch on the left.
Go west until you reach the branches. You are going to jump across to the root on the right.
Continue west on this root until you see the leaves on the branches.
Jump onto the branches then double jump off them and spam the attack button until the items and runes pop up.
Repeat as many times as you like!
