Dark and Darker – Solo Fighter Tips and Tricks

How to play as a solo Fighter in D&D.

Voordelen: Weapon Mastery>Combo Attack>Projectile Resistance>Swift

• Weapon Mastery, this makes so you can use any weapon you like. but the main reason we take this is so we can equip ranged weapon.
• Combo Attack, more damage the more attacks we land in a short time.
• Projectile Resistance, take less damage from projectiles.
• Swift, reduces the base movement speed of equiped gear, it’s really important to be lightweight as a solo player.

Gear:

Weapon slot 1. 1Hand+Shield

• 1Hand, you can go with the 1Hand you like, I prefer the [Falchion] for its high base damage, and horizontal attack to hit more targets.
• Schild, why we use shield is that so we can protect from projectiles and a very few melee attacks from both npc and players. I prefer to use [Beukelaar] of [Round Shield]

Weapon slot 2. Bow/Crossbow, I Prefer the [Handboog] for it’s high base damage per arrow shot, [Kruisboog] can also work, and if you use [Kruisboog] over the [Handboog], you can pick another perk than Weapon Mastery such as Counterattack.

Basic Gear breakdown:

Here we will try to min/max the stats we get and the penalty for -move speed.

• Strength for more Physical Power/Health Points.
• Agility for more attack and move speed.

Hoofd: Any armor with low -move speed and Headshot Reduction–(look for strength,agility or to all attributes)
Borst: Any armor with low -move speed–(look for strength,agility or to all attributes)
Pants: [Heavy Leather Leggings](str) OF [Loose Trousers](agi)–(look for strength,agility or to all attributes)
Handschoen: [Riveted Gloves](str) OF [Leather Gloves](agi)–(look for strength,agility or to all attributes)
Boots: Any armor with high move speed–(look for strength,agility or to all attributes)

Hanger: Strength/Agility or to all stats.
Ring Slot1: Strength/Agility or to all stats.
Ring Slot2: Strength/Agility or to all stats.

Utility Slots:

1: Fakkel, to see in dark spaces and find traps, you can click RMB to toss one on the ground.
2: Onzichtbaarheidsdrankje, use this if you have alot of agro of monsters, and people are after you, or to hide from people.
3: Campfire/Surgical Kit, to heal yourself if you’ve taken alot of damage.
4:Potion of Protection, pop these when you are about to fight another physical user.
5:Healing Potions, to keep you at full health if you’ve taken any damage.
6:Healing Potions, to keep you at full health if you’ve taken any damage.

Playstyle, try to avoid fights that is not in your favour, do you see a group of players that you feel like you cant handle? run away to fight another day, Pressing X will sheath your weapons so you can run even faster.

Neem de tijd, look around in the room and loot all that you can find, kisten, break pots, open coffers, but make sure you keep an eye on the circle try to be near the circle edge, and when a blue portal pops up, neem het. because you don’t know when the next one will pop up, or if another team is already holding it.
