Before you can rename your cult, you must first build the temple and perform a doctrine. Once these requirements are met, you can proceed with changing the cult name whenever you want.
Doing Your First Doctrine
If you haven’t performed a doctrine yet, continue playing the game until you come across a room where you’ll find three stone parts of a stone tablet. Collect all three parts, as this will allow you to initiate a doctrine. Keep progressing in the game until you return to your cult.
Once you’re back at your cult, go to the temple and approach the table at the back. Select the crown option next to the sermon. This will bring up a page where you need to click on the book at the top. Dan, choose one of the five icons displayed in the new pop-up.
