This guide provides a comprehensive LIRE walkthrough for attaining all in-game achievements. It ensures a spoiler-free experience while assisting players in successfully navigating the game. While the game is relatively straightforward, this guide serves as a helpful resource for those who may encounter difficulties during their gameplay.
- Use WASD to control your character’s movement.
- Press Shift to make your character run.
- Utilize the E key to interact with objects or characters in the game.
- Press F to activate the flashlight (note that it may be disabled initially).
- Use the I key to access your inventory.
- The M key can be used to open the map, but this is only available when you are inside the house.
Begin by watching the cutscene.
Follow the path that leads you deeper into the forest.
As you continue, you’ll encounter a graveyard. Feel free to engage in conversation with a nun you’ll find there, if you wish.
Keep moving forward, and you’ll reach a mansion enclosed by a wall.
Approach the main gate of the mansion, but note that it will be locked. To proceed, you’ll need to take a side path that leads to a secondary gate.
After entering the mansion, head to your left, where you’ll discover a small courtyard. On one of the tables within the courtyard, you will find a key. Simply press the ‘E’ key to interact with it and add it to your inventory.
Locate a nearby shed and enter it.
Inside the shed, you will find an item you can take – a battery. Collect it.
Head back to the house, but you’ll find it locked.
Open your inventory using ‘I’, then right-click on the key, and select ‘Equip’.
With the key equipped, you can now use it to open the door.
Once inside the house, look to your right to find another item. Pick it up.
This item is a flashlight, but it lacks batteries. Fortunately, you have one in your inventory.
Open your inventory again, and firstly, equip the battery. Then, while still in the inventory, equip the flashlight. This will insert the battery into the flashlight.
You should now have a functional flashlight, allowing you to proceed inside the house.
The Wine Room
Enter the house.
On your right, you’ll notice a purple candle. These candles serve as save points, so it’s a good practice to save whenever you encounter one, even if you’ve passed it before.
You’ll receive a pop-up notification. Once you do, enter your inventory and equip the flashlight. Then, you can activate the flashlight by pressing ‘F’.
As you continue exploring, you’ll receive another pop-up notification. After this, you can open the map using the ‘M’ key.
Currently, you can’t access the upstairs area. On the left side of the stairs, you’ll find a rose, which serves as your healing item.
In the foyer, proceed forward towards the mirror, located to the right of the stairs. Beneath the mirror, there will be a table with a key. This key unlocks the previously locked room on the left.
Head to the locked room and remember to equip the key from your inventory to unlock it.
Inside the room, you will discover potions, the first of the diaries, and a ghost girl. She’ll request you to find her doll. Look behind the partition in the room to find a clue about its location.
To reach the doll’s location, you’ll need to go through the hallway to the right. Unfortunately, this hallway is locked.
Next to the locked door, there’s a cabinet. Interact with it to discover that it’s missing a teapot.
Search the room, and you’ll find a teapot on a table. Collect it and equip it from your inventory.
Open the unlocked door.
Proceed down the corridor, making sure to collect any glowing healing items you come across.
At a certain point, when you attempt to go through a door, hanged bodies will suddenly drop from the ceiling. Running into them will unlock your first achievement.
Meet the bound ghost for the first time
You’ll find yourself in a spacious hallway. On your left, there’s a save point and a locked library. To your right, there’s another locked area and a study.
Upon exploring the study, you’ll come across an additional diary, a potion, and a firearm. Grabbing the gun will unlock the next achievement for you.
Get killed by cursed rifle
Adjacent to the firearm on the table, you’ll spot a key. Be sure to pick it up. This key will grant you access to the door at the far end of the hallway to your right.
As you enter the dining room, take notice of the additional potion, a save point, and a rose. However, continue forward.
To your right, you’ll discover the third diary.
Now, proceed to the room adjacent to the kitchen. In there, you’ll come across a note and an interactive doll. Make sure to interact with the doll.
The path will reveal itself to you. Walk through the wall.
Inside the concealed room, you’ll encounter yet another locked door and a table. On this table, you’ll find a key. Be sure to grab it.
Now, you can backtrack to the kitchen and make your way to the storeroom. Along the route, you’ll encounter another save point.
Inside the wine room, you’ll discover the bunny doll, and you can then use it to exit through the locked door in the secret area.
Return to the ghost girl and present her with the doll.
Proceed to the library. On the first floor, you’ll come across the next diary.
Ascend the stairs and reach the library’s balcony. Here, you’ll locate another diary, although it might be a precarious spot.
Move around and descend the stairs. You’ll reach a save point and a sort of maze. Prior to entering the maze, go all the way to the right of the sitting area.
Here, you’ll discover a note containing an incomplete password. Alice will share her insights on it. Afterwards, input this password into the black box on the adjacent wall.
As you enter the maze, veer left at the first opportunity. This will lead you to the sixth diary, and obtaining it will earn you your next achievement.

Now, backtrack and navigate to the right through the maze. At the far end, you’ll encounter a door that you’ve previously unlocked.
Inside that room, you’ll come across the final diary. Following the cutscene, interact with the book once more to uncover a key.
Return to the main staircase.
If you’ve followed the sequence correctly, this is where you’ll earn the next achievement.
Escape from ghost girl sister
Now, head upstairs and utilize the key you found to unlock the ballroom.
Currently, there’s not much you can do since you lack sheet music. However, you’ll find a note in the room that will guide you to its whereabouts.
Regrettably, the door leading to your destination is locked at the moment. Consequently, make your way to the guest room and follow the instructions on the note. This will unlock the door.
Inside the Fashion Room, there will be a ghost you need to avoid. Employ your newfound ability and explore the area.
- The ghost will follow a predictable path, patrolling back and forth through the hallway. Once you’ve discerned her pattern, it will aid you in evading her. Areas marked with a red arrow indicate hiding spots. Use shouting to attract her to a particular area, then quickly hide as she approaches. Once she passes, you can emerge and slip behind her. The ghost seems to rely entirely on sight, so she won’t hear you if you run. It’s recommended to lure her into the changing room right next to the save point, hide behind the plant, and when she passes by, sprint to the very end of the hallway and open the door there. This leads to a small hallway that loops back to the door behind the plant where you can hide. Unlock the door from that side to establish a pathway. This will prove highly useful since the ghost can’t enter this area. If she spots you or gives chase, retreat into this area to lose her. If she’s still pursuing you or guarding the door, you can exit from the other side and seek refuge in a hiding spot until she loses interest. You can also shout at one end of the pathway, then dash to the opposite side to explore that area of the map safely. When you first obtain this ability, you should earn your next achievement.
Use “Shout Command” for the first time
While exploring, you’ll come across a side room containing a note and another black box for a password input. The note reads, “Red – Blue – Green – Yellow.”
Hint: This note pertains to the colored mannequins. Interacting with specific mannequins will provide you with numbers.
Solution: The answer is 4179.
Once you’ve correctly input the answer, you’ll hear something being destroyed. When this happens, make your way out and head to the right, where a new room has appeared. Inside, you’ll find the sheet music.
Retrieve the sheet music and return to the ballroom. Place the sheet music on the piano and then engage with the gentleman ghost.
Subsequently, you’ll unlock the next achievement.
